Can units move on the turn they are built?
 
2 questions. Under DEFCON 5 we should have 7.5 (+50%) IP correct? If so, does that get rounded up to 8? Second question: Can you explain trade routes a bit more? You imply above you can only receive income form trade routes the turn after, so if we establish them now, we will only get that income next update?
 
Correct about trade routes, and correct about DEFCON. However, this is the first update, so you're working with default-level industrial output. Next turn, the bonuses kick in and all that jazz.

Trade routes are simple: two nations each sign the trade accord. If neither are commercial, the next turn(and all turns thereafter until they cancel the trade) they receive 1IP. If one is commercial but not the other, that is 2IP, and if both are Commercial that's 3IP for each. If one of the provinces that the trade route is connected to(and if these aren't specified, I will randomize it) is blockaded by a fleet that chooses to interrupt trade, income to both parties immediately ceases.

Looks like Arya already asked the questions I was going to. Although did anyone ask about rounding for Industry bonueses from DEFCON? Basically with 1*50% i'll have 1.5 Industry. Will this be rounded up or down? Or kept a decimal until the very end?

All trade routes have been ratified. Still waiting on confirmation on the land agreement of the two provinces acting as buffer between Megrheg and Egypt. Staying away until then. For now Egypt will be focusing its expansion on the middle east.

The Northern Watch has recently received reports from our intelligence forces that the French Commune is marshaling its forces for war, although whether they march east or north we know not, nor if this is merely a bluff. Even if this is un-appetizing to you, or not, I have a border proposal. Russia gets Karelia, Poland gets everything in Eastern europe and Italy if it can snatch it, as far south as it desires. With our might the Turks and Germans can hardly stand up to any claims you might make. The Northern Watch in return will be allowed to have Sweden, Finland, and the northern isles in the Arctic sea.

Also bear in mind that if Poland and France can cut Germany off in the south before it claims a coastal region, I can blockade his Baltic coast until he gives into whatever we demand of him. This alliance would be a win win for all of us, especially the workers in Germany we would eventually be freeing.

Sent to me and the Second Lenin State. Of course, Poland declined. So before you start accusing France of trying to invade Germany, look at your own diplomatic history. Seems you and France have a lot in common if it is true.

@Light: my income is marked as 4. Since the mod has passed judgement it should be 5 like everyone else. The penalization was overruled.
 
Before we bring out the flamethrowers, can I please request that the interested parties perhaps discuss this issue without resorting to anger and possibly even do it via PM? I would just loathe for this thread to be locked over this.

While I see you point I believe in open discussion that draws attention to the issue so that reaction can be set to order as oppose to simply ignored. Plus my statement was of calm notification than anger: I was pointing out that the mod had denounced the penalization.

In relative news: would I be able to use armies I recruit in my orders in expanding the same time I recruited them?
 
IP is rounded up if you're at D5, down if you're at D4 or lower.

Thanks for the answer. Certainly helps clarify why DEFCON 5 is worth staying in unless you fear or prepare for war. I don't think I asked whether gaining more provinces gains you more trade routes, but considering you ask for people to plan province to province trades not just nation to nation...

On the topic of using armies, it was mentioned previously that you can use anything you build the turn that you build it. You just won't get IP until the next turn, ergo Industry or setting up trade routes.

That's how I can have three provinces highlighted in my claims this turn. Hope that helps :)

Really LH? Criticism is defying a GM? That has to be one of the most immature penalizations one has to give!

I demand you change the stats and remove the penalization. I will consult mods if I have to!
 
GM is the Stalin of the game. When you join a game, you agree with the rules and the fact that the GM has powers to change the rules.
