Iran, the Red Sea, and the West (tm).

It wasn't a british defeat; Britain didn't even want Greece to be in ww1 (exactly so as to prevent further expansion; Greece officially had asked to join the entente at the start of the war).
But there are way too many problems with expecting a scenario where Greece simply invades. It won't happen.

here , some random guy on twitter . Large packages of Iranian missiles risk American intervention . Small packages help Israel in defence , might push America to step up in defence of Israel , which like turns out to be really a big deal in Israel avoiding live TV spectacles . Small packages will encourage the small fry to join up . If such an Iranian attack was made on New Turkey , New Turkey would have clearly intercepted far fewer missiles .

in the interests of visualness , some many lines repeat themselves in the second picture . Officially first use of Iranian hypersonic warheads and they hit like with more power .

Two days has lasted the Russian style Irani air defense against a proper western style air force. Always according to Israel of course, but all points to it being true:

IIRC there were some clueless self proclaimed experts here arguing about Iran position of strenght or that Israel was dommed or something...

So....your evidence that Iran has "lasted two days" is that its position re: a nuclear deal is the same as it was on Thursday before the Zionist attack?

Largest manifestation since the climate marches some years back..

At least 75 K people according to this article.

According to 11.11.11, more than 70 per cent of Belgians believe that the EU should impose sanctions on Israel, just as sanctions are imposed on Russia. “War crimes, targeting civilians and blocking aid can no longer go unpunished,” says the NGO. “Enough is enough.”

I guess those weren't in the eurovision calling-voters :P

You can forget about Eu sanctions against Israel. No US gain there, nor even any short-term gain for Eu military industry.

Idealism is the prerogative of youth, at least they’re doing something instead of complaining on the internet.

And it annoys the Zionists :

Following the Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, a number of Israeli officials, soldiers and citizens are being prosecuted and have been subjected to incidents in European and foreign countries, as part of the efforts of human rights associations and organisations to hold those responsible for committing war crimes accountable under international law.

The arrogant dictator from Tehran has become a cowardly murderer who fires targeted shots at the civilian home front in Israel to deter the IDF from continuing the attack that is collapsing its capabilities.
The residents of Tehran will pay the price, and soon.

Trump told Israel not to kill Iran’s supreme leader

President Donald Trump rejected a plan from Israel to assassinate Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, POLITICO confirmed Sunday. Israel had a window in recent days to potentially kill the Iranian leader, but the president conveyed that he was adamantly against the plan, said a U.S. official granted anonymity to discuss sensitive conversations.

Reuters was the first to report on Trump nixing the plan Sunday morning.

Israel first launched what it called a “preemptive” strike on Iranian nuclear facilities early Friday morning in the Middle East, with the stated aim of destroying the country’s nuclear capacity, accompanied by specific lethal attacks on some of Iran’s top generals and nuclear scientists. The two sides continued to trade strikes Sunday.

Though clearly no fan of the ayatollah, Trump has insisted that a path still exists for Israel and Iran to resolve their issues with diplomacy.

“There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end,” he wrote on Truth Social on Friday. “Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demurred when asked to confirm the report by Fox News anchor Bret Baier on Sunday.

“There are so many false reports of conversations that never happened, and I’m not going to get into that,” he said. “But I can tell you, I think that we do what we need to do, we’ll do what we need to do, and I think the United States knows what’s good for the United States.”

But Netanyahu didn’t deny that regime change was a goal for Israel in its fight with Tehran.

“It could certainly be the result,” he told Baier. “Because the Iran regime is very weak. I think it’s basically left with two things, its plans to have atomic bombs and ballistic missiles.”

Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, also refused to rule out going after Khamenei on Sunday.

“I think it’s fair to say that nobody who’s threatening the destruction of Israel should be off the target list,” Leiter told Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week.” But we’re not going to discuss specific individuals, you know, online. The idea is to neutralize and terminate the Iranian intention of destroying Israel through nuclear weapons and through ballistic missiles. And anybody who gets in the way of that, or is actually advancing that cause of destroying Israel, is obviously somebody we’re going to have to deal with.

As of now, the only democracy in the Middle East has killed scientists along with their families, has detonated car bombs in the street, has struck residential buildings, has struck civilian energy infrastructure, and has just now bombed media houses.

All of this has been enabled by the West, which even now cheers on the death and destruction they believe they will face no retribution for.

They used to say, these civilized Westerners, that the Russians were oriental barbarians, creatures of the jungle, bringing war to the little peaceful garden of Europe. They say, still even now, that Russia is not a Western country. No Western country would commit such crimes.

Russia is the West. The Iron Curtain was nothing but a mirror between two bloodthirsty savages staring into their own reflection. Exhausted by ravaging their little peaceful continent over the course of several destructive wars, they consigned their fighting, and its attendant misery, to the rest of the world.

Aime Cesaire once said that Hitler's greatest crime in the eyes of the Europeans was to inflict on them the same procedures that hitherto had been reserved for the savages of Africa, India and China. Putin's greatest sin was to bring upon the West exactly the sort of death and destruction that the West had thought was the exclusive lot of the barbarians of the global South, and which death and destruction they continue to enable and cheer on even as they heap insults on Putin, a bloody-handed savage shrieking in the mirror.

I planned say 3 week ago, that those wars (Syria, Ukraine - Russia, Gaza) just showed for whole Word that West is just Janus-faced jackal. (and of coz Russia is a part of West, from 1700AD it was ruled by foreigns, even USSR was ruled mostly by non-russians), well its nothing new, since Roman Empire, or Hellenics city-states (I thing probably early it wasn't need to explain aggression against someone, it was natural). But mass media (propoganda) in modern world can convince anyone in Black is White.
The whole western Shining City on the Hill just specops for grabbing more resources, influense, money. The deep human nature is still here, only slightly covered by mask of democracy.

@Bonyduck Campersang sayed it with much more better words.

And look like US near to ready to START thier new war in ME

Edit. Lol, gpt refused translate Duck's post to Russian, thanks China we have DeepSeek

Generalized war - with the US taking part openly - does look more likely now.
I also find Iran's announcement or "plea" very foreboding, as it now asked countries like UK, France and Germany to directly condemn Israel - as if they indirectly did :P
It won't ever happen, so what else could that announcement be other than a byproduct of desperation?

Of course if such a war does happen, it will at least make it clear that what we have here with Ukraine is by comparison a side-show; the oil-producing regions in the middle east are certainly more important.

The Iranian regime has no friends. Not even among its neighbors in the Middle East. A significant part of the Iranian people despise them just as much as the Israeli do.

Putin can offer the regime the same assistance that he offered Assad last year; a safe haven for Khamenei and his ilk in Moscow.

I hope some day will come where the regime is permanently dismantled and the Iranian people can decide for themselves again and bury the hatchet with former and present enemies.

The issue with the approach "Khomeini is hated by many of his own people too" is that it was exactly the same (if not worse) when the Iran-Iraq war happened, and yet even those who hated the revolution still mostly fought to defend their country.
That is typical for any country which isn't artificial - and Iran obviously has a long history.

Who would be involved in any such war? What would the sides be?

As for now, only Pakistan said, it could send some aid (military), if Iran asked. Probably they think, next target of Israil state could be Pakistan (coz why not?)
