Iron and Blood - Game Thread

GM: Sonereal is an official new Player. See updates policy for rules on new players. I will update the stats to add him in soon.

Broadcast via radio to whoever the hell is in charge of France, Swaziland, and friends:

See? We said overpowered, but nooooooooooooooo, you guys were all like "We're the victims here! Waaaaaah!" and then Etheopia was like "They're totally the victims here!" and then I was like "By Buddha, the world map looks ********."

On the Siamese people rests the blame of defeat. The military was extraordinarily valiant, but everyone else would rather literally ***** and moan about the whole thing rather than just suck it up. Would they [prefer/I] to be speaking French right now? As Siam's ruler, I believe France would have ended up starting this war on their own, regardless if we had attacked first. I, as well as my fellow members of ATK, were just trying to protect you all, but apparently you think you don't need protecting. And you nobles... you're the worst of the lot. In this time of need, you think you deserve money from the treasury? I think you deserve to be shot out of a freaking cannon... and you will. Right before I step down from being king and flee to somewhere they DON'T want to die horribly.

ooc: I'm not even going to explain it. I don't care what happens. I'm leaving. Toodles.

The Medinan Army

The Caliphate of Medina, with the threat of Communism neutralized in the Old World, can now turn its attention to the treachery of its former allies. Islamist groups in Sindh, Sinkiang, and Punjab raised a green flag of Revolution, and have joined the Caliphate, setting a shining example to all of Islam. The Caliphate defends its own people, and it defends its allies.

The Caliphate of Medina issues a declaration of war against the nations of the Alliance of the Three Kingdoms and the Conference of Nations, to defend not just its political allies, but now, its family in blood as well.

Go crazy.

Can I get a conformation, anyone?

I'm confirming that I'm quitting. I'm not mad that I'm losing, I'm really not. I'm mad because of the manner in which I am losing: I get stacked with so many penalties and I can see hardly any logic behind them. Plus it seems that making cities switch sides is really freaking imba.

I think that only non-cores should be able to switch sides so easily, and should cores be targetable at all, it be one at a time.

Regardless, this game is pretty much over for me, and I couldn't care less about what happens next.

GM: OOC - Which is why we will take out time with I&B 2 to get it right. We have some good ideas in the development. So we have learnt a lot from this game.

@Bestrfcplayer - Go ahead.

Siam will go disolve

Wow, that is seriously one massively messed up East Asia. And is that a Greek Ceylon I see?

AA: I thought you were Red Spy for a sec and massively screwed with my mind. You having the same avatar as the Spy is making my brain hurt :(

:mwaha:

If Siam is leaving, then I'll leave sometime soon too. It won't be the same without Double A so there is no point in continuing.

This war was a last ditch attempt to drive interest in the game back up, but due to cheap tactics from our enemies, with the absurd city switching and the OP espionage powers, it's only ruined the game for the rest of us.

I'll stay for maybe a turn or more, but I could care less about what happens now. I'm off to work on I&B 2, and hopefully make it a lot more balanced then this version was.

Once again, you don't start a war against your allies when you have 0 EP. We thought we were friends.

I have more than 0. I didn't think Joe had literally none.

Yeah, you have 385. Joe and Han have 0.

It's true that he probably has literally 0 EP, but even so, the stuff you've done with spies to him over the last two turns aren't even remotely balanced.

No defense against espionage and collapsing stability says otherwise.

Of course I'm sure you have no problem with California controlling the Congo and almost all of East Africa?

I think it goes without saying that Ethiopia declares war on California.

(yes, I am controlling Ethiopia while hoplitejoe is away)

GM: Siam will dissolve into independent regions.

I have decided I will not allow any more new players, if you are interested in joining, wait for I&B II and post in the Iron and Blood 2 thread.
