ITNES I - An Epoch of Change

to The Dawn Lands, and Alguricans:
We are sorry our deals have not paid off yet. It seems we need to take more measures to aid your people scientific advancement.
ooc: I put our deals in the orders, I guess I'll need to order people around to get you more tech, sorry about that...

To: Cernorusia
From: Onoghuria

We demand an explanation for your actions with regards to the onogurian prisoners.

To: Alania
From: Onoghuria

We propose a defensive pact and trade agreement between our two nations. We are also unopposed to the unification of your nationw ith the former Alan lands who submitted to us for protection. Furthermore, might we suggest the idea of selecting a king to rule over your great nation? This will do much to provide stability, and if this is done, we can offer you one of our princesses as an act of friendship.

I didnt expect to get out of germany, looks like reading the orders thread did help (kal'thzar was right too, being positive and ambitous helps).

one complaint...llama's?

The Huanc shipped them in centuries ago... I think I even mentioned it before. The newer Olmec ones are rideable, though barely; indeed they were mostly used to scare off the horses (not entirely unlike Roman incendiary pigs that were mentioned way back in IT I ;) ).

Das, will the effects of my project be usable this turn?

Yes.

Did you start it MjM?

So he thinks. ;)

@das, what is the name of that city in the area OTL Hamburg?

Holseborg.

Good update, surprised no mention of me.

Why exactly are you so surprised? ;)

1. The one oversight I keep repeating is not saving the old stats... But I think I did give you all the educ. levels.
2. Fair enough.

do i have 8 ec to spend?

Yes.

But Norge's betrayal was most unexpected.

Why should the PCs have all the fun? :p

Ha great update...so many naations destroyed....excellent.

Yes, though I do notice a few glaring errors now, I still do like the sheer amount of fighting all over the world. Who was it that said he wants a BT? :p

I didnt expect to get out of germany, looks like reading the orders thread did help (kal'thzar was right too, being positive and ambitous helps).

Facing no regular troops whatsoever helps too. ;)

From: Parhae

The Shah of Parhae offers another 15 year extension to its NAP with the Pervashid Empire of Luca

"sir I told you! I told you they will leave us, and Carthage would hunt down Hibernia itself!"
"Yes Carthage may now want to burns our homelands, but that is only because they have lost. They have nothing to loose, so they will try to take Nortugal down as well. But we can save ourselves. We can leave the island of Nortugal. We can contact some allies that could aid us in defeating the Carthaginian armies here, on Hibernia, the floating fortress.
I'm not saying it is going to be easy. It is going to be hard. Harder than the northern wars. Maybe harder than the burning of Portugal which still burns us all in our hearts. But we will give all to defending our homeland. We will give everything in destroying the menace of Carthage once and for all. We can, with possible allies, and even alone, defeat the greatest enemy of ours. The ones who burned Portugal, now their own capital is burned into ashes. They were made to sign peace with the Dacians and Lucans because like us they want to survive. But. Their survival is a thorn in our backs. They cannot survive so we could. They want the Dawn for themselves, you saw in our treaty how much they wanted. That is why we moved to destroy them and anything that they had the time to influence. We still have much more work to do, and in war, as any war, we will also get hurt. But Hibernia, and Nord-Lisbon will not fall. We will not fail in defending the floating fortress. We know what Carthage plans are and for that we shall prepare. We will try to bring their mighty navy down, and we will hold as much as we could. And we will. Because Carthage is not invincible. You have seen it in the past few years. Carthage was thrown into the dust. And we are here to clean the left overs. Yes the left overs of Carthage are as powerful as us! But they can, and will be defeated.
So organize the people. As many will leave Hibernia to Dawn. Any who is left will fight to the last and will win. Also contact those I have told you about. Allies would aid us much much more. Oh and contact Norge, maybe they would be interested. No one wants Carthage on it's back door. And maybe it could make them move their navy away from the Baltic, that may help some others..."

to Norge:
We know we are enemies, and we know your armies are in a war. But Do know that a greater evil than us, a power known as Carthage is coming after us, and once they will be done here, they will try to darken the whole world, as those darned Solist put it. Would you be interested in helping us to stop this menace?

to New Dawn (Israelite):
Oh it seems out expansion in the past years have blocked you own path. We will of course allow your settlers to move through our lands and in case it is needed we shall hand over lands to the dawn for you to be able to continue expansion.

Nation Background: The great Adena culture was one of the highly-developed in the Americas for centuries now, but its city-states had little unity or strenght, and kept each other in balance; the disasters that befell the south Mississippi in the 2nd and 3rd Centuries AD (Olmec invasions and Apalachean raids) ruined that balance, but also trigged the unification of the southern Mississippi (sans Olmec possessions, the "Lower Adena") around the Adena city-state of Nanih Waiya. This "Upper Adena" had become a small, but developed, strong and very promising state. It has potential for greatness in the very near future.

Okay then. I was planning to have the Middle Bronze Age spread in the Americas anyway.
