Great Law of Peace, Prosperity, and Unity

Preamble

We, the great nations of this continent, Keezosenica [1], the Kingdom of the Dawn Land, the Algonquian Confederation, and the United Adena, have gathered here together at the Most Blessed Isle of Únamakika [2] for the purpose of initiating a new order among the peoples of these lands. Together, we plant the Great Pine of Unity to last for all time; till the sun know longer rises and our peoples no longer stand together. We pray with vigor and strength to our g-ds, the souls of the Earth who reign below us, above us, before us, behind us, to our left, to our right, within us, without us, in our thoughts, in our actions, in our words, and in our silence. We pray that forever we shall receive Their blessings. Amen.

Purpose

For too long we have stood divided; for too long we have had not union; for too long we have preyed upon each other; for too long we have been preyed upon; for too long we have lived at the behest of others; for too long we have been cursed with hardships and tribulations; for too long we have accepted our fate without fighting; for too long we have been pawns at the hands of foreign kings; for too long we have used one another as pawns. We pray now to our Parents, the g-ds of the heavens, of the earth, and of the waters, for guidance in this time that this Great Law may bring Peace, Prosperity, and Unity. Amen.

Name

We, the peoples of this continent, those who have chosen to stand side by side in friendship and unity, take upon ourselves the title of the League of Three Circles. We are three independents, granted sovereignty and dignity by the grace of the most loving powers of the Earth, who have decided in our wisdom to unite as one body for the sake of our peoples. We are also three circles, three hoops, for everything of this world is a circle, and everything One of This World [3] does is in the form of a circle, who have come together in hope of forming one Great Circle of Peace, Prosperity, and Unity. We pray that our name and our names may be carried from the Dawn Lands [4] to the Dusk Lands [5] and beyond the Great Seas. In the name of our Fathers and our Mothers who came before us and served before us we say this prayer. Amen.

Duties

We, the peoples of the Three Circles, recognize the duty to preservation of Peace, Prosperity, and Unity. In preservation of our Union, we are sworn to the protection of our brethren in times of war; in preservation of our Prosperity, we are sworn to the protection of brethren in times of peace; in preservation of Peace, we are sworn to aid our brethren in all their just ventures. Should one of the League of Three Circles be attacked, all members are attacked, for the League is one great hoop as much as it is three. Should one nation see peace threatened, and war to be necessary, it is the duty of all members to consider the necessary action, and to decide in communion on the correct course of action. Each nation has one vote, and the majority decides. In this way we pray that, through these sworn duties, the Union, Peace, and Prosperity of the League may stretch across the vastness of the Keezosenican continent. We pray for strength and honor, love and charity, health and happiness, life and liberty, faith and dignity, endurance and martyrdom. Amen.

Postamble

Having sworn allegiance and fidelity, we the great peoples of these Sun-Graced Lands, the Wabanaki, the Mohegan Algonquians, and the Adena, raise our voices in prayer and praises to the blessed g-ds of Earth, Sea, and Sky. We give thanks for this union of brethren, and pray that it may last till the Eagle of the Sun no longer rises. We pray for the good fortune that we may walk hand in hand with one another and the Divine in strength and weakness, when rejoicing and when in depression. We pray with all of our hearts, all of our souls, and all of our might that we may receive the blessings of the Divine forever and ever. Amen.

TREATY OF CHATTAGAM
Resolution to the Indian War
Promulgated on 13.06.894AF

The victorious powers of the Indian War—the Khmer Empire, Tieh China, Shahdom of Parhae, and Sri Dukunnugeya—having successfully prosecuted war against the aggressions of the defeated power—Sindhu—and obtaining from it an unconditional surrender, do hereby present the following terms and conditions to conclusion of the war:

Article I.
The nation of Sindhu is to be formally dissolved, with its component territories divided amongst the victorious powers as indicated in the included map.

Two new states under the vassalage of Sri Dukunnugeya are also to be formed, as indicated.
Article II.
King Parantaka shall officially abdicate his position as King of Sindhu, whereupon the position shall be abolished in perpetuity.
Article III.
All oaths to King Parantaka or to the nation of Sindhu shall upon conclusion of Articles I and II be null and void.
Article IV.
Victorious powers shall dictate the internal governmental structure and fate of nobility and civil servants according to their own directives.
Article V.
The standing Army of Sindhu will remit all weaponry to the possession of occupying territorial powers immediately.
Article VI.
All Levy forces impressed into the service of the Army of Sindhu are to be released from duty.
Aticle VII.
The standing Army of Sindhu will officially be disbanded excepting those members that wish to serve victorious nations and swear and oath of loyalty to do so, at the discretion of the victorious nation in question.
Article VIII.
The standing Navy of Sindhu will remit all vessels and equipment to the possession of the Khmer Empire.
Article IX.
The standing Navy of Sindhu will officially be disbanded excepting those members that wish to serve victorious nations and swear and oath of loyalty to do so, at the discretion of the victorious nation in question.
Article X.
With the accession of Sindhu to an unconditional surrender all Articles of this treaty shall be adhered to by all current governmental personnel of Sindhu, civilian or military, on pain of death.

OOC: I take it to be everyone included provisions for signing the treaty given we discussed its basic tenets and nothing very unobvious is included in the text.

The repeated conspiring and grasping of both Luca and Dacoillyria for economic and military dominance of the Mediterranean and Bimarine Seas to the exclusion of all others, and their resulting fabricated tales regarding Phoenicia and unprovoked invasion thereof, combined with continued interference in global markets, leaves us but one recourse of action.

The Khmer Empire formally declares war on both the Pervashid Empire of Luca and the Dacoillyrian Empire until such time as Phoenicia is liberated from their ambitions. May the Gods have mercy upon your souls, for we shall not.
