It wasn't treachery, I never signed an alliance with the Phoenicians. We only asked for their help against the Babylonians...

TO: Phoenicia
FROM: The Empire of Luca

You failed to hold up to your end of the agreement; because of your recklessness, Lucan warriors that were not meant to die, died. Judgement day is upon you.

Surrender at once.

To Mohenjo-daro
From Deccania

We agree to your allinance. We hope that both our peoples can live in peace as long that it is possible.

From: Roman League

Magna Graecia was never under Syracusan control in the first place, why should it be now? Italia is under the control of Italians now, not those who have stolen land from us. To the victors go the spoils, and Sparta and Rome have reaped what we have sown: the destruction of an overseas Hellenic empire that was bent on the domination of lands not their own. Italia for the Italians!

OOC: Shhhh! Propaganda! Romans are more Italian than the Siciliots, anyway.

Every word you speak is an obvious lie. Only the most stupid creatures on the world would not see this. Your betraying has caught us by surprise, but now we see the world with open eyes and you will pay. It would be the best for the health of your funny armies to leave Phoenicia. Our armies might be small now, but together with the legions of our allies we will wreak havoc upon you. Don't think that we will leave our homelands to beasts like you.

Your arrogance has sealed your fate. Very well, prepare to meet your destiny.

@das, how strong are the Aryans now with the Parhae and me crushing them from two sides...are they still going to try and raid my borders and whatnot?

Probably not... at least not any time soon. If they have time to recover, though...
Zapjevajmo braćo,eeeeej.
Kroz Thessalonika kola žure.Zapalit ćemo dva-tri trojska štaba da mi nismo dolazili đaba.U Pelli klaonica bila.Mnogo trojanaca Struma odnila.

That's... hardly ancient Macedonnian-talk. Even if I think I could understand parts of it.

While we certaintly had previous agreements, We believe current borders are what is best for the respective powers that have contributed to this war.

As a separate comment, current borders also involve quite a bit of tiny squabbling regions, and also there's that rising Armenian soon-to-be-state.
Das, Any specific reason for Zapotec hostility to Olmec expansion?

Well, duh. They don't seen any point in submitting to you people. Trade is alright, but becoming a part of an empire... Why?

IC:

From: Syracuse
To: Roman League

Greeks came there long before your "city" was built. It is our land by right, as were the other cities we previously freed from the Corinthian and other rule.

I repeat nicely again - give us back those cities.

To: Syracuse
From: Roman League

Who appointed you ruler over all of the former Corinthian colony cities? Do not try to steal what we have conquered with our blood, sweat, and tears. Going by this logic, you would lay claim to our own city, too, founded by descendants of Aeneas Dardanus as she was, correct? Or do we misunderstand your reasoning? It seems fairly shabby from where we in Rome stand.

Cease your clamoring for what is not yours, for we shall defend our possessions to the death.

OOC: When is next update, again?

From: Syracuse
To: Rome

Your city was founded by Trojan; not a Hellene Greek, like ours and those other cities were. We once more politely request that you cede these cities to us; in exchange, we agree to recognize your other gains made along the way.

This is your last chance.

To: Syracuse
From: Rome

Then our answer is no. Go mess with your own cities, do not pretend to own ours. If you cross the border into Roman territory, you will be annihilated.

OOC: Update on 16th, like Kal'thzar said?

EDIT: I just realized a while ago that I hit 1,000 posts. Whoops. I backtracked a little, and I think that this is the lucky numbar. If not, then it is now, by order of the King of Rome. :king: [party] [party] :band:

Its actually a mix of songs, but I will stop it.

OOC: Yes, Dachs.

The "zapjevamo" bit (if I understood it correctly) gave it away, Cleric. That and the occasional rhymes. Though it would have been easier to read it if it were in a more... song-like format.
