Oared galleys pulled alongside the great wharf of Tartessos harbor. Laden with rich goods from both Northern Albion and Southern Afric. The mineral wealth of Albion was well represented in these hulking ships - gold, silver, tin, jet, marbles and pearls along with furs, timber, dogs and slaves. The exotic wares of Afric also held their own - exotic beasts of all sorts, salt, perfumes, timber, gold, Tyrian purple. From here they would reach the markets of the world - The Eastern Sea.
A man watched the awesomeness of commerce from along the harbor. He had always liked to watch the ships, even as a boy. Men stopped in their work to look upon the man on the shore; he was Bacar, King of all Tartessia. A contingent of guards kept a vigilant watch over the Great King.
