'It's too crowded!!' complains my population!

How do you stop your people from thinking that your cities are 'too crowded'?? In most of my cities many people complain that its too crowded...

Also can you give me some tips to generally keep your people happy?

You can never stop people from thinking it is too crowded - and it always equals your city size. You always have to increase happiness.

Switch to Hereditary Rule and build units. Or trade for happiness resources.

this article explains a lot about ways to make your people happier. as Jerrymander said, as they grow they just think it's too crowded. they have this exclusive attitude where they think nobody else should be allowed to move in i suppose.
