Changed the wording. Happy?

Awww, come on, don't be mad. I was picking nits for fun, not because I actually cared what it said. We all know what you meant, I was just joking around. Just so you know :)

And yes, I am evil

Just took out some unnecessary punctuation to straighten that sentence out. I now give it my complete support :p

@Terris: Can you not edit in diplo 4 hours after the original post, even if it would mean you'd be double-posting? I read the original post, and it was only by chance that I double-checked and saw the added diplo.

From: Scythian Confederation
To: Atyria

We agree, of course. Money would be appreciated so that we could spend our income on things other than the maintainence of our army.

From: Noricum
To: Atyria

We agree. We'd also like one with your puppet state, if you give them permission.

@LB: What else do you expect a mod to be? :p

You do not rule the straits. So, in order to provide a nice counterbalance, you will be denied passage south through the straits.

OOC: You know what, I really hate people who come in an NES to join a nation on a whim and then refuse perfectly sensible diplomacy just because they don't give a darn if they live or die. It screws up the NES for others and makes it generally much less fun.

To: Atyria
From: The League of the Sea Peoples

Hark, what's that? You hold one side of the straits? Well, fire arrows can land on ships just as easily from Anatolia as they can from Thracia. So any denial of passage will be mutual.

Okay, I've spent the last half-hour looking at Chinese history of the period, and I'm hopelessly lost. I can't find any good maps, don't really understand the politics, and don't have the time to get into it.

So does some kind soul want to tell me what the hell is going on in China at this time, and/or give me maps every 50 years until unification?

To League:
hmm Point. Your ships will be allowed to pass. But we will Deny Nortward passage of All other Millitary ships. we will not allow a non-trustworth forign pressence into the Black Sea.
though note we never had any intnetion of actually fireing upon the ships, just blocking thier way with our own ships.

Basically it's a free for all as warlords consume smaller warlords around them beginning to centralize and establish the states prevalent in the Warring States Era. The Zhou King is the figurehead leader of China with the increasingly powerful warlords calling themselves Dukes.

And ah... maps will be difficult to find, if not impossible on the internet considering how borders changed very frequently and since I think many books on the Warring States Era was destroyed by Qin Shi Huang in an attempt to purify the name of his dynasty. Not sure on that fact though :(

To Summer: Greetings. It seems the situation tot he south has stablized quite nicely. to ensure it's stablity for the forsible future, we would like to sign a 4 turn NAP with you.
Also, we would like to further Encorage Trade between our two great nations by offering a formal Trade pact with you.

To Nocium:
Excelent. they have permission fo form NAPS with any nation they want, so you might want to try asking them Directly.

OOC:
Arrggh. I never should have gone to war. so many details to keep track of, and so many choices. ah well, Orders Written up, just need to wait till this huge Mess Clears up, and all the Diplomatic replys are in.. aahrrgh, and word that some diplomatic subterfuge is in the air. I need Replys for Rome, league, Sparta, summer, and soem NPC's. man 19 points to spend. 200+ ships. yet more troops. *sigh* so complicate!
still, very fun!
Alex! I need the Rome Diplo!
(moved for better image. sorry JD.)

OOC: I sent a PM terrish. And jal, does that help things or did it make things more confusing?

IC: Noricum and the Scythian Confederation agree to a 4-turn NAP.

OOC: I have no clue what to do about China, in terms of stats, borders, PCs/NPCs, etc. Any ideas? :(

OOC: You can simply make China a vast, unknown and extremely invincible/powerful land to all jal ;)

Or just keep it the way it is until some resemblence of order has come in the form of a few large states...

Yeah, that's probably what I'll do.

The latter, obviously. :p

OOC: darn it! If I switch to a Chinese state, will Rome be NPCed well? :(

To Atyria
From Rome

We agree to signing the 4 turn NAP with you in addition to the Trade Pact. :)
