JalNES I: Quick and Easy

Know I'm getting a few here.
Only have one Question concerning the course of events. Was I going to be attacked this turn? It's been bugging me.
No, you weren't.

Das-style awards it is!

Had fun for the short time I was in this NES. Next turn was going to be my invasion of Srivijaya. Already had plans for it (however they got deleted yesterday in a virus that has since been fixed)

JalNES I Awards

Player Awards:

Winner: Tie between Andis-1 and TerrisH. Andis-1 managed to constantly expand, taking Ur from a speed bump for the Medes to the undisputed greatest power in the world. TerrisH made Atyria a great economic power, and one that could have succeeded in almost any direction it chose to go.

Best Player: The Farow. He created a powerful northern empire that defeated all threats.

Most Persistant Player: Luckymoose, for not giving up or switching nations.

Least Persistant Player: Tie between Azale and Swissempire.

Most Innovative Player: TerrisH--the only one to take full advantage of research and projects, and one who actively tried to exploit the rules.

Best Unsung Leader: LittleBoots--he built Eirehann into quite a power, and survived everything I threw at him.

Most Agressive Player: Andis-1. He invaded Egypt, the League of the Sea Peoples, and Magan. Alex994 is a close second.

Least Agressive Player: Adherence, who never showed any sign of agression. He even tried to peacefully incorporate the barbarians.

Best Orders: Birdjaguar. Absolutely amazing defense orders for Update 18, and he really did a lot of research to find out geography, etc.

Best New Player: Littleboots. This was his first NES ever, and right away he was acting like a pro.

Best Storywriter: Tie between LittleBoots and North King. But honorable mention should go to Dachsmpg--I loved his story!

Luckiest Player: Azale--you would have been destroyed last turn, but ~Darkening~ decided to throw his nation into civil war.

Unluckiest Player: Tie between North King and Lord_Iggy, both of whom would have prospered if not for andis.

Most Cunning Player: Birdjaguar, with his spy networks and carrier pigeons. He especially shone on his first assault against the League of the Sea Peoples.

Evilest Player: No one was *that* evil, so I'll just give it to andis-1 for his crushing of Eden.

Most Inquisitive Player: Alex994. Multiple PMs of questions every update.

Most Suicidal Player: Neverwonagame2.

1 problem with these awards. I dont know if adherence did, but I converted MANY barbarians to buddhism.

Send missionaries out into all of Funan and barbarian lands to convert people to Buddhism.

IF these barbarians convert to Buddhism, peaceably amalghamate them into Funan.

*looks at awards*

*runs off and cries*

Okay, so? If your problem is with Least Aggressive, you said you were planning to invade Srivijaya next turn--so by definition you can't have gotten the award. :p

No hard feelings--it's just that you never really got involved in the wider world after the peace treaty with Eirehann. I kept waiting for you to get involved in the Great War...

It's actually not my lack of awards, but that you closed the nes :p

And that's all your fault anyways I couldn't interefere. The wars with Carthage (especially Scipio ;)), the xenophobia of the Tartessians and then lastly the Syracusians. Of course, I'm just blaming you out of sheer anguish

I dont expect to have gotten it. I just wanted to know if he did that too, or if you were confusing that line.

Convert was a poor word choice. Changed to "incorporate".

Well, I got greatest fall... I don't think I was particularly unlucky, other than that time where I almost destroyed Sumer, except for having a few boats.

I do win 'most horrifically aggravated moment'.

*screams and twitches*

Thank you JD. It was great fun. And had NK not betrayed me to Andis the ending would have been different for both of us. ;)

Thank you very much JD. As much as I enjoyed ranting, I very much enjoyed the challenge that this NES was and I think you are a terrific mod. I hope I didn't get on your nerves too much. I will say thanks for not bowing to pressure or changing anything despite what I may have said. Difficulty breeds talent or some such nonsense :)

I love my awards, each one of them. And even some of those which are not directed towards me ;)

Woot, got some Sweet Rewardsa.

hmm, any posibilities of creating a successor NES for this a year or two down the road? might be intersting to see how things would have turned out.

If only this had lasted two turns more, I would have ruled the seas. and most of the Eastern Med Once my NAP's started to run out.
well, unless they begain to Ask for them to be reknewed, then they would have staved off attack.

ahh, so close to becoming Impirial Atyria, and yet so far.
