JFD's The World According to Modders

That may well be, but Jifford is doing a Natan Civ, if memory serves. Not that I'm at all jealous.

See, I'm not jealous, because I know that even I do get in the best I'll be is a city-state. Or one of the guys on TPangs' spy list.
What I would like, though, is a Neirai civ. CL Split, anyone? :p

One to repersent Colonial and the other Pre-Colonial parts of CL?

I really like those civ icons and color schemes, even if Zulu-ified Gazebo #2 looks like a pinecone. I'm hype to see progress being made!

Zulu-Pineco Gazebo is just the effect of having two of the same civs in the game at once, which was so for testing of Gazebo's leaderscene and war theme. Gazebo's theme will be the gold-brown one

TBH, the thing that keeps holding me up, here, is that I can't come up with a UA for Natan. So feel free to throw ideas at me, to at least give me a general direction (because you'll probably throw ideas too difficult to implement :p). Gazebo is focused on Science and Whoward is on Great People, for reference.

UA: Pax Everythingica
Opening a new :c5culture: Social Policy tree and advancing to a new Era generates +1 :c5goldenage: Golden Age point per turn. +10% :c5production: Production in all Cities for each Major Civilization with whom you have a Declaration of Friendship and a Defensive Pact.

---

So yeah, Golden Ages and/or Production is the theme here. =]

It would seem to me that if one were foolish enough to go to war with whoward69, he would use his Morindim powers to summon a great magician (Ie, great scientist) whose special unique 'great person thing' could be any one of 69 randomly selected effects -- all of which are outrageously OP because the modding powers of William Howard.

Yes, yes, I know, only William would be able to actually code it -- but still, it might be a nice insider's joke to put it into the civilopedia or something. The best part of the joke would be users reporting this ability being 'bugged' because nothing happens -- or perhaps it wouldn't be the best part of the joke.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Natan's UA should be 'Is It Done Yet?', though I have no ideas for what the effects of the UA should be.

I just want to be able to mod myself in once the mod is published, so I can invade from SPACE. :P

I can't help but notice the Wiki page now exists ;)

Progress is good. Although that's kind of a given and I don't know why I felt the need to bring it up.

How is Colonialist Legacies going? Are we getting the Ridiculously Overpowered Camel UU?

If I do not have another slew of bugs relating to CID and RtP waiting for me in the morning, I will be aiming to release the tWatM v2 sometime tomorrow.

The plan is to release civilizations in pairs, with the first being Lord God Whoward and Pope Gazebo. Sure, most of you here are probably excite for the actual civ-makers like me CL, but you'll have to wait. Not sure when the next release, of Natan and a mysterious but appropriate pair ;), will be released - but please keep in mind that each one is the same, if not more (because I have to do most art myself, as well as write up the lore), work as a regular civ.

p.s. i cannot listen to whoward's war theme anymore because it gives me nightmares :p

If I'm going to be a civ, can I code it myself? Not to steal any of the workload of course :P.

Nope :p You can design yourself though.

*JFD, not trusting my coding abilities - as I've been known to release civs with bugs :p* fair enough, I'll get the design to you.

Wait, hold on, I can't access the Wikia page. Any idea why?

I somehow failed to realise this was a thing. Modders being modded? that's meta.

It was a thing before I disappeared for two years :p
It's a great project, especially like narcissists such as myself.
That's why I'm responding to every comment. Maybe it's just boredom. Loneliness? I just really like this project.
