Minister Sir Donald III has asked me to post this poll while he is at work. We have 3 settlement sites (Roman Iron, Zulu Coast, Rik's Lake, in that order) from this poll. The question is whether we should keep this settlement order or change it. This poll will last until 6:00 PM EDT, 1 hour before the turnchat begins.

According to this poll, which closes about 24 hours from now, Rik's Lake location is beating out the Eastern Gems location. Which means the Gems location wouldn't be our next city. Does the Domestic Department even recognize that poll? Are we going too fast for our own good? Where's the will of the People on a quick chat and what are we going to be doing?

There are way too many polls on this settlement issue. Can the Domestic Minister please tell us mere citizens which polls outweighs the other polls and give us a clear indication what sites are to be settled first and which next ?

I'm getting confused.

I prefer to have a series of polls (which the first ones closed before the next one opens) which are set up like this:
Poll 1: These sites are suggested as future city-sites; which do you want to settle? - Multiple choice poll.
Poll 2: These 3 (or 4, or 5 or ... ) are the winners of the previous poll; vote on the order you want them settled.

The other poll is a poll about a settler currently outstanding whose orders can still be followed, but such orders may put the resulting city "at risk" so to speak. In that poll, "Rik's Lake" is given as a "Veto" option, in case a majority of citizens think that we shouldn't risk this outstanding settler on a potential War Zone.

This poll refers to settlers made in this TC.

Two completely different situations, but both are within my governance.

Now, if "Blue" gains a majority in Poll #1, then the "Purple" in this presented order will have already been settled.

So according to the narrative, you're are asking if we want to change the order of the poll you linked to. The Gem city won 1st place. If, in this poll, we "decide to change the order of those results, Gem City would not be first. You are not making sense here SD3. I understand about your "Majority of 50% b+1  but you have three polls going for the next site. If you want to change the order of cityu placements after a certain number, then you had better make that clear in the narrative.

I guess I didn't word that very well, SD3. You have the first poll which is closed. The winner of that poll will be sandwiched in between two other cities unless Rik's Lake gets at least a 51% approval in the second poll. Now you have a third poll asking if we want to change the order of the locations after the winner of the first poll. But if Rik's Lake gets the 51% in the second poll, the original order will already change. As everyone wants the order after the next city changed, we will have to have a fourth poll, which may or may not have Rik's Lake as an option, depending on whether it gets the 51% or not. All I'm saying is that we need to slow down and do things in a sensible manner. You don't have to try and explain your process to me again, SD3. I understand it, believe it or not. But this is a tangled mess we have now. Please don't say that no one saw the Babylonian Settler cross our lands last T/C. We knew they were going to place there.

We don't need multiple choice polls. We just need timely and accurate polls that have been well thought out, considering current info. OK, I've said my peace. I'll be quiet now.
