Cripes. I'm really amazed no one has brought this up, but it might be a matter of Eras...

My request is for (drumroll...)

THE OGRE MK V!! You know, from Steve Jackson's microgame, "Ogre/GEV"... Having a Ground-Effect-Vehicle would solve a bunch of people's questions, like a land unit that can move over water, but it gets too complicated. An OGRE, however, is justly nicknamed a "continental seige unit"... :cool:

Bristling with heavy guns, capable of high rate-of-fire bombardment, HUGE offense and defense, needing an entire battalion of modern mech units to defeat... Requires Robotics... Man, I'm slavvering at the mouth just thinking about it. A unit that could justifiably be called a Wonder...
 
One of the African units I want - either an African Swordsman or an African Musketman. I'll make up my mind and provide a picture if I win!

I'd like a generic middle-ages female archer with either Longbow or Crossbow (whichever is easier for you to do), and wearing a helm, chest plate and a fairly long skirt (or some baggy feminine trousers, again whichever is easier). This would be used as a Ranger in my Final Fantasy mod, and no doubt would also be useful for many an Amazon civ.

Edit: Note to all those requesting gatling guns, since I'm going to have the Land Battleship (which has 4 Gatling mounts on it) finished tomorrow or Thursday, I'll personally make the gatling gun if you'll support my request (all I have to do is copy one of the mounts from the Land BB and put it on a gun carriage, which would only take me about 20 minutes tops). Besides, I was thinking about doing a Gatling gun for the Steampunk mod anyways. I really want this Middle Ages Female Ranger/Archer (but don't currently have the necesarry props or know-how to make an archer type unit in Poser), and If you help me out, I'll help you. :)

Eh one or two of my Land Battleships could take that thing, especially if the guns are loaded with tungsten-tipped armor piercing high-explosive projectiles.... Although I pity the city where that clash of titans takes place :eek:
 
Hmm. I'm getting tired of requesting the same old Pegasi Cavalry every time so this time I'll request the first thing that popped into my head: Olog-hai troll.

I know Kindred's LOTRTroll is pretty much the same thing (well, it's more like a cave troll really), but I would simply love to see the thing done with Kinboat's attention to detail and animations. Kindred's troll isn't bad, but well, it's not a Kinboat either.

Hopefully LOTM-crew will see the wisdom of my suggestion if the choice falls again on one of their numerous entries. ;)

An auxiliary infantryman of the first century AD. His armour and equipment is decidedly inferior to that of the legionary. He wears a light mail shirt and a Gallic helmet. Instead of the sophisticated pilum, the throwing spear of the legionary, he carries the hasta, a more basic stabbing spear. His light shield is flat and oval, offering no corners to snag. It hence is a shield enabling a soldier to fight individually or in loose formation. This is equipment suited to a light mobile fighter, rather than the to the disciplined heavy infantrymen of the legions.

As I didn't see it in the rules that I can't request this, I'm going to request a wardrobe... and by that, I mean models rather than a unit...

You set the number of pieces of clothes you want to work on, and I'll try to give you the best idea possible of what to do... that way, instead of one unit, you're really making a lot because then we little minions take those clothes and make our own units. :)
 
Rather than picking something only relevent to my upcoming Magic mod, I
figured I'd pick something that could also find use in pretty much any fantasy
mod.
It's going to be most difficult to find quality units for the blue school of
magic [since we've already samurai for white, zombies & skeletons for black,
Ogres and goblins for red, and elves for green]; so my humble request in light of this, the first card preview of the upcoming Betrayers of Kamigawa set. . .

Well, I'm sure the legions of LOTM will win over in the end, despite the fact that Battle for Middle-Earth, an excellent LOTR strategy game, is already out, but I'll request anyway.

Howsabout a nice, generic crossbowman, or if you're not too keen on generic a Chinese Chu ko nu? No offense to any of the existing crossbowmen (or their creators), but I'm not to fond of any of them, for various reasons -- either not generic enough or simply don't appeal to my tastes. Perhaps my standards are too high.

However, if you don't want to make a crossbowman, since there are already a number out there, you can always make Kal-el's Aztec Knight that I requested last time. :D
