Report:
Preturn: Seattle is our highest shield producing city at 17SPT. This will increase to 19SPT next turn (when the gold mountain is mined). I switch from a Musketeer to a Palace prebuild (for a Factory).
Look at the trading situation. The Romans have an excess source of coal. The Ottomans are the only civ with Industrialisation
one of the only techs we
need at this stage.
Rush a temple in Samarra, Los Angeles and Kansas City. It costs a little over 450G but theres an unclaimed source of coal near by. Im hoping well be able to claim it for ourselves
plus the extra culture will come in handy anyway.
IT: Gah. Greece and Rome sign a peace treaty. Shame
460AD: Not much. MM Seattle so its producing 21SPT and send several workers to hook the coal up.
Sell WM around for 66G and everyone elses WM. The Ottomans still have a monopoly on Industrialisation
I switch several cities to Cathedrals for Palace prebuilds
IT: More Greek/French fighting
470AD: Miami: Marketplace to Bank
Osman will trade us Industrialisation for 335GPT and 1435G. Pah! No thanks
IT: More fighting. The Egyptians start Shakespeares Theatre
480AD: Send several workers towards Seattle for when our coal comes online.
Egypt now has industrialisation too
they want 90GPT for it and all our treasury. France, Greece China and Rome arent producing any GPT so I dont bother trading just yet.
I renew our horses deal with Caeser for 147G and his WM. Not much I know
but its better than another civ getting his money.
IT: More fighting
Egyptians start Univeral Suffrage
Ottomans and French start Shakespeares Theatre
490AD: Denver: Bank to Cathedral prebuild
Our coal gets hooked up. Railroad construction begins

France now has Industrialisation. We can get it for all of our treasury (2273G) plus 15GPT. I decide to wait as we might as well try to get t at a cheaper price. We have nothing to gain from getting it this turn.
IT: Our Gems deal with Greece expires. Then our Spices deal expires. They dont want to renew either, and only have 7G to offer when I offer them a deal. Oh well
France and Greek sign a peace treaty.
The French start the Universal Suffrage
500AD: Not much. We can now get Industrialisation for 2175G, Spices and our WM. But I hold off trading for now
none of our cities can build factories just yet, so hopefully another AI civ will get Industrialisation in the next few turns.
IT: France and China sign a peace treaty. Gah
the world is at peace. A good thing for the AI, a bad thing for us.
We renew our ROP with Rome for 32G
Romans and Greeks start Shakespeares Theatre
510AD: Buffalo: Aqueduct to Marketplace
I take the plunge and buy Industrialisation
even though it is expensive. We should have enough moolah to rush a Factory in Seattle. It costs us 2175G, Spices and our WM (from the French- who offered us the best deal).
Trade Industrialisation with Greece for Medicine, 73G and 13GPT
Trade Medicine with the Chinese for Free Artistry and their WM
Sell Gems to the Greeks for 11GPT
We are now at tech parity with the Egyptians, Greeks and French (other than Nationalism). Osman is up The Corporation on everyone. Were up Industrialisation on the Chinese and Romans
Hurry Seattles factory for 356G
IT: Greeks start Universal Suffrage
Chinese start Shakespeares Theatre
520AD: Seattle: Factory to Coal Plant
IT: Renew our ROP with Greece. We receive 16G and their WM
Renegotiate our Gems deal with Ottomans. We now receive 33GPT (up from 21GPT)
Our Spices deal with the Egyptians ends. They dont have anything to offer us back in return.
530AD: Rush a Coal Plant in Seattle for 496G
The Romans and Chinese now have Industrialisation
IT: Renegotiate our ROP with the Ottomans. We receive 17G.
Edrine completes the Universal Suffrage and Bursa completes Shakespeares Theatre

That kills the cascade for the TOE
540AD: Seattle: Coal Plant to Palace (TOE prebuild). Seattles now producing 60SPT
Greece now has Nationalism
IT: nadda
550AD: Not much. Continue railroading and buy a French worker for 82G.
-----------------end report
Ok, were in a very good situation imo. Were earning over 300GPT, have a fairly large treasury as it is and our railroad network is starting to be built. The AI still needs to research electricity
and Scientific Method before it can even start the TOE. By that stage our prebuild should be nearly done. Soon well have several factories up and running, the Hoover Dam can be built and we can go

the Romans (and the rest of the world
