leonardify updated Leonardfactory's Policy Yield Previews with a new update entry:

v0.6.0 - Colorful Yields, policy fixes for adjacencies and more

New Features​

  • Show yields even if their value is exactly zero. This way it should be easier to identify not implemented policies and/or policies with bugs
  • Add a configuration option (after you load a savegame, go in the Options > Game menu, you'll find it at the bottom) to enable Colorful yield previews based on yield type (screenshot attached). You can now choose the preferred display mode; I'd like to work on list display for the policies next, and keep it...

Strange, no options for this mod available, even on English locale.

UPDATE: looks like only in Main Menu.

Looks like this bug occurs only in Main Menu, so I assume it's more game logic than actual bug. Also updated localization, sorry

It's probably an issue on my side, I'm loading the mod config page only when the game is loaded. For now I'll try to explain it better in the mod page.

PS: I did not test everything so I'm not ready for a release, but in the meantime if someone wants to see the new Great Britain policies, they are available in this alpha build

Barbarian Mercenaries appear as a positive when it's a negative.
 
I appreciate your file naming that includes the revision even if it does take a minor delete step.
 
Sorry, I didn't think to take a screenshot or anything but there are issues with the +1 for yield adjacency cards.
At one point, I had them saying in the hundreds which was correct but then the card for gold showed like 54 gold so I removed it then when I added the card in again my total gold per turn jumped by a couple hundred as it should have.
I know this is a rather lacking way to report a bug but if I see it again I will get more detailed documentation.

(It was like 1:00am and I was tired, again sorry for not documenting it.)
 
Unfortunately, I am running into a problem with no policies showing up on the policy selection screen. (Actually a hard lock, as you also cannot back out of that screen.) Not sure if this is new due to the patch, but it does appear to be related to this mod. As best as I can tell, this problem persists (at least with Carthage) even if I do not load other mods.

I didn't try Carthage; could you send me a savegame so I can check it?

Edit: i tried playing as Carthage and I found no issue, so probably there is some specific game settings combination I am unable to find (or some issues with the mod files / installation). Could you try reinstalling the mod and tell me what's happening after that with the save game?

Shoot, I just disabled the mod and went on. But I will keep an eye out for this and post/send a save if I can provoke it again.
 
First of all, thanks for the awesome mod! Been using it since the first release!

With 0.6.0, I'm having some issues. I'm on Mac via Steam, Founders Edition. Have removed all other mods but the issue persists:

- The yields aren't calculated anymore. The icons on the Policy box are there, but all values are zeroed.
- I don't see the option to activate the colorful mode in the Options menu.

I've removed 0.6.0 and re-added 0.5.0 and the yields are calculated correctly, so I'm back on that version. Let me know if I can help debugging in any way.

I've got the same setup (I'm double testing Windows/macOS); could you try the following to help me debug:
- close the game
- open the mods folder and go to the parent Civ VII folder, open the `AppOptions.txt` file with TextEdit
- change the line `;EnableConsoleOutput 0` to `EnableConsoleOutput 1` (removing the `;` at the line start and change 0 to 1)
- start the game again and reproduce the issue (e.g. trying to open the policies screen)
- send me the file Logs/UI.log which should now be present
