Whatever my personal opinion, if my wife is dying, then yes I would accept whatever is necessary to save her.
There are people who think life has an intrinsic, sacred value. I am not necessarily one of those people; I'm still working out my own personal values, but I can see where they're coming from.
Thats why anti-abortion people scare me, they don't give a toss about anything other than forwarding their opinion

Innocent people get the death penalty yet they are okay with that too so excuse me while I choose not to believe they are as pro-life as they claim to be

I am sure that there is nothing controversial about carrying out the death penalty on a human while they are being baptized in the womb. Especially since they are unable to be spiritually baptized yet.
Or can they? Some humans have been known to have the Holy Spirit in the womb.
The whole issue is "Are we God formed, or just material in a material universe?"
Some material is more lethal than other material and they are awarded the death penalty. Other material is just awarded the death penalty, because they do not "exist" yet? It amazes me that material minded people pick and choose what gets recognized as existence, on superficial values.
Yet some other material is less lethal and got screwed over by their lawyer/system and get awarded the death penalty
