Stop calling them a hate group then and reserve that label for groups that genuinely deserve it.

Here's how I see it. All this group does is believe in the same biblical interpretation of the issue as say, the Catholic Church does (or a good number of other churches for that matter).

But to answer your question, I'd say the KKK is certainly a hate group. The Westboro Baptist Church crosses that line as well. The Family Research Council? Not so much.

I'll agree the Catholic church has its history of violence, but that hasnt been the case in a long, long time.

I contend that visceral disgust for homosexuals is their driving motivation and I think they're a non-violent hate group. So no, I won't stop.
