Konrad Adenauer
A shaded leaderhead for the german councellor Adenauer. He was the first Chancellor of West Germany after WWII.

Ver. 1.1 from 27.04.2008 - Overdone the texture to make his face look older and less pink'ish. (Nif's are updated as well because of uvw adjustment). File updated in the Database.

Great, really great. I wasn't really hoping, someone would pick up my request. :)

May I make some suggestion, allthough I can't really help? Most important thing: Can you make his head a little bit more broadly? I think the shape of his head is a little bit too long at the moment. Another suggestion: Is it possible to bow his head a little bit? Your LH has a little bit too pronounced chin for Adenauer. If you bow his head you won't see it this clear.

Finally two suggestion for the texture: I would make his eyes a little bit darker. Adenauer had more dark grey eyes than blue one. And would it be possible to make him some decent age marks on the forehead?

Anyhow, I like the LH much. I would use him instandly, if he wouldn't be in work. :)
 
WORK IN PROGRESS

Working on a new Leaderhead for Adenauer. The similarity is not too striking, so he might go as just a "Generic Modern Politician" in the end. Not 100% satisfied with the results so far, so i decided to post a WIP to see if some useful ideas come along.

Really nice job ! I would only change a bit the hair line (I mean, where the hair begin) to something less straight and more curved.

Also, maybe a grey suit texture would be nice, it will look more different like this.

I especially like the black suit, because on the most pictures I saw Adenauer is wearing a black one. See pics linked further up. Only the tie is different. :)
 
Hairline and Chin are easy and worth a try.

A wider head would be nice... but this would require ro re-export the eyes. I worry it might loose the rig to the Eye-Traget (The pupils become static).
Have someone edited/re-exported eyes before ?

Or is is possible to do a non-uniform scale in NifScope ?

Don't think it is possible viwth scope, but it is with the viewer.
 
This guy looks really good! The last few LHs in progress posted on the board look amazing! Mussolini and this guy both look great.

Made the head a bit wider, changed the hairline and pushed the chin up a little bit.

you may make the texture look more wrinckly.
We definately need more LH who were not murderous.
That's cool, I can't really see who he was in the beginning.

I'm trying to make a mod adding only the new leaders for existing civs. I tried to add this guy and am a bit lost. The XML files I've added Adenauer to are:

Civ4LeaderheadInfos.xml
Civ4CivilizationInfos.xml
Civ4ArtDefines_Leaderhead.xml

I've miss-spelt his name as "Adanauer", but it is exactly the same in every file so it should be ok then right?
And the art define is the same structure as the one you've posted. Also it seems like the download has more files nif and kfm files than is necessary. Where do I put these? I would use a tutorial, but the only Leaderhead tutorial describe how to make them; and the "add a civ" tutorial describe how to add static LHs only.

I updated the file with a new texture, making his face look less pink'ish and somewhat older. The preview picture in the first post and the file in the database are updated.

Also it seems like the download has more files nif and kfm files than is necessary. Where do I put these?

There are only the files that are actually needed in the download. So perhaps it's your problem :p All the stuff should stay in one folder.

The files you listed/edited are the right ones. The identifier tags in the XML (LEADER_ADENAUER or whatever) can be what you want - a misspelling there is not a problem - as long as you stay consistent in all files.

I guess you problem is a typo or something - most likely in the art defines - if you misspelled his name in the folder name as well ? Like calling the folder "Adanauer" while using my art-define which does point to "Adenauer" ?
