What will be true ? That he will probably raise taxes for the rich ? He better do so
That this will be a downturn for the economy as they invest a lot more than the middle class ? that is just pure and utter nonsense
Oh, and I certainly do hope he gets elected, it is time that the Bush-gang (Bush, Rove et all - and yes, McCain) is finally thrown out of the office for good, hopefully to never return again.

I'll grant that your theory on upper-class investment seems valid enough (I really don't have the education in that area to know if it actually is valid), so I'll let you score on that one. You'll never convince me, however, that healthcare should given based on whether you earn enough. By my reckoning that violates some fairly basic human rights, and simply isn't good enough in the world, let alone a country as wealthy as America (or Australia for that matter, although from what I here our healthcare kicks your healthcare's butt

Well moopoo I took a Economics class in 12th grade, and I have to agree with navy, so you have it from a semi-authority. Also, navy did pretty good on the economy, but I feel there is also another reason why high taxes for the rich makes little or no-sense (this may be too deep for some, lol). Who pays your salary? The bum on the street or the guy who has 50 million bucks? Who makes the stuff that you buy (Civ4 for example)? The bum on the street or the guy with 50 million bucks? The answers are easy, the guy with 50 million bucks! Now another question, how does the guy with 50 million bucks pay taxes? The answer here is also obvious, with the profits he makes on the stuff you buy! Raise the taxes what is the guy with 50 million bucks gona do? Raise prices to cover the lose! And if he can't raise prices because of competition or a government price cap (I'm not against all caps) he lower the wages he pays! Oh, and when the government raises the minimum wage he will just go out of business while he still has something!
Now regarding the candidates, I hate McCain, and I absolutely hate Obama! I'm voting McCain just because Obama is 100000000 times worse. And I don't really like Bush, I hate the Clintons, and I wish RL was like Civ and leaders never died, then we could have Washington, Lincoln, Theodor Roosevelt, or Reagan again!
Now about the leader head. It is a fairly good model, you can defiantly tell who it is.

Neither, I get my salary because the work I do is worth paying it to me. Of course the one I work for still gets some money on top of what he pays me for the work I do, so he usually is not a bum.

No, from the money he gets from the work I do (and the work he does). He pays taxes on his income, same as I pay on mine. He does not pay taxes on my shopping expenses.
BS, the first thing you should learn in economics is that cost to manufacture has no relation to price (except that you should not sell at a lower price for a long period of time).
What the guy is supposed to do is pay more taxes, other than that very little will change. With 50 M he probably pays next to no taxes already and has his money on the Bahamas.
Yeah, lower minimum wages, so the guy with 50 M can get 80 M. Wait, wasn't he supposed to lower prices instead ?
That being said, as someone else said "the world never has too many rich people, only too many poor"

McCain is a closer political buddy of reigning Democratic left-winger Ted Kennedy then he is with George Bush. If you did have good info on McCain that goes back further then the start of his campaign for presidency, you'd know McCain votes with the Democrats on a continuing basis against his own party... of course now that he's the Republican nominee, he instantly gets the "he's just George Bush" junk from the liberal media (including European sources)... truth is, McCain is just another democrat wearing a Republican button.
You have the choice of Democrat Obama or Democrat (with a GOP button) McCain as American President.
Frankly, I hate them both.
(Of course this doesn't stop all the left wingers from claiming (quite incorrectly) that McCain is just like Bush... which is what they say about every Republican, which just goes to show how closed minded the thinking is).

I think the BS belongs here not in that quote. They are of GREAT relation to each other! The manufacturer pays for the materials for new products with the money he makes from products he has sold! Therefore they have to be related, otherwise there would be NO reason why we could not sell products for cheaper then it costs to make them!

What? Junk Medicare? I know people who would die if not for welfare and medicare and social security and the minimum wage! How would making old people, poor people, and the uneducated starve and die help America? If you removed Social Security it wouldn't happen all at once it would be gradual this way a Retired person gets there normal pension but a 18 year old has time to invest in IRA and other things so they wouldn't get a Pension. That's how I think they would do it.
