More than 300,000 people from around the world have applied for citizenship in Liberland

Listen to the invitation by Mr President:

Both Serbia and Croatia have indirectly recognized Liberland by failing to oppose its territorial claim:

Serbia: The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Liberland does not infringe upon the border of Serbia, although the project is seen as something "frivolous", with no further comment on the matter.[9]

Croatia: Liberland has been mentioned by the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs but rejected as a joke, without any more comments.[22]

Liberland is almost 4-times larger than Monaco!:

There are two internationally recognized sovereign states that are smaller than the area which Liberland claims; the Vatican City and Monaco.[9]

Liberland is a landlocked nation, but has free access to the Black Sea via an international waterway, the Danube:

The Danube river, which is the only coastline of Liberland, is an international waterway with free access to the Black Sea for several landlocked nations.

0/10 micronations should build their fake capitals in Cities: Skylines. That looks like a 2000-era video game.

Fake capitals for "fake" currencies:

The driving force behind this develepment is, not surprisingly, Bitcoin Swiss.

The fact that their new country occupies less than three square miles is no impediment to nationhood, they say – both the Vatican City State and Monaco are smaller.

The founders claim that Liberland is neither a stunt nor an elaborate joke but a serious proposition based on the fact that the patch of land is "terra nullius" – unclaimed by any other country.

(...) its founders are dreaming of building a thriving, free-market economy – a sort of Balkan Hong Kong, with a large population living in yet-to-be built skyscrapers.

Serbia and Croatia should cooperate and divide the territory amongst themselves. Europe already has more than enough tax havens and money launderer states.

It is a micronation between Croatia and Serbia. It will survive as long as no one cares, and not a day longer.

And it looks like a horrible idea already.

Both Serbia and Croatia have indirectly recognized Liberland by failing to oppose its territorial claim:

I don't think that declining to oppose a new state is sufficient to actually count as recognition of the new state, indirectly or otherwise.

Translation: Eurosocialists can't compete with free markets so they have to send in armies to quash them.

Compete for what ? Very few countreis can be in the tax haven business and leech off the wealth created in countries that invest in education and infrastructure.

Except the currently existent micronations of that size - your Liechtensteins, Vaticans, San Marinos, Luxembourgs, and Monacos exist because of specific historical contexts that wouldn't/couldn't really happen in this day and age. Croatia and Serbia haven't bothered to do anything right now because there's nothing there worth making an international scene over. As soon as that happens Liberland will cease to exist.
