LINES-World of Magic

"kristine prompa kristine prompa kristine prompa" Began the age-old chant that would call forth one of the underlings of the great Osthra who gave us the Fire. This beast would serve one of the arnemenn for life, and ever do good for the sudafrikaners.

"For" tell the lore-tellers. "For the Osthra have always been our allies, and their underlings have served us well. At the beginning if the world, the Flames sprang up in the land of the Oshra. Being, as they are, more powerful than any man might conceive, they decided to give the flames to the most worthy tribe, a tribe that would follow the Osthra for the aeons to come. The Osthra aranged a competition only for the greatest tribes, those with great prowess in battle and the skills to rule the world. And through that competition, many great men lost their lives, uncountable numbers were hurt, and thousands of gallons of blood were spilled. Great was the tribe of the Hunderkells, but their victory did not last!

During the last of the trials, the tribe of Dherkel, our tribe, won the match! The Osthra were pleased, for we had exceeded their expectations. They turned all the other tribes outcast, and cursed them horribly, more horribly than is seemly to tell of when the young listen... The other tribes's women might never have a boy-child again, and their tribe must wither and die, for they would have no men.

But to the tribe of Dhurkel they granted a great gift; the flames. And the flames were black as night and they were sacred to us. The Osthra called us the Sudafrikaners, as we were the only tribe left in Sudafrika. TheyTaught us how to summon their underlings and commanded their underlings to obey us. We turned our worship to the Osthra, and they blessed us richly through the years.

Now we find that some of our tribe betrayed us! they were seduced by the women of the other tribes, and as their blood was not cursed they were able to give these abominable women male children. These male children also had some untainted blood and were able to give this traitorous tribe more male children!"

Now, as soon as we saw that these uneducated barbarians attacking us were not a new tribe, but our former brothers, the outcast, we called for help! We drew on the rescources the Osthra had given us to keep our land uncontaminated of these unclean bitches!

Death to the world, And the world to Sudafrika

To Babylon, Ur, and Welikoslavia
From Indus:

To create a lasting peace instead of this temporary ceasefire, Indus purposes the following

1) The ramains of the Babylonian army lay down their arms and Babylon recedes it's declaration of independence. (The city of Babylon is gone and so are rulers of Babylon)

2) The lands Indus has conquered from former Babylon is to be returned to Ur.

3) All lands presently in Welikoslavian possession is to be kept.

Agreed?

OOC: Iggy, what general tech level are we at, and when can we expect to see the next age?

Let's see... that's a trade route with Songhai arranged, anyone else? I hereby extend offers of trade to my allies Abyssinia and Khemri. Hopefully we can come to an arrangement.

To: Indus Empire
From: Ur

Yes. We will accept this deal. But Tripolye will live forever knowing that Anatolia is not theirs. They are the superficial slime covering what would otherwise be the beautiful land that is ours.

From: Babylon
...ooh...groan...ow...you win, do whatever...ooch...

Stat update done.

Story bonuses

Elgovia: +1 turn of project production (its finished) and +1 thousand infantry. Secret bonus also added. You'll find out in a few turns.
Vol'Kiss: +10 Volcanists
Karthage: The population will rebel against the occupiers more and longer.
Songhai: +20 magicians

You'll note that all of the stats are now multiplied by 10, except for UU, navy, and magi. But they're now 10 times stronger, so the difference is only in appearance.

Oh, Atlantis will be the first into the next age, that's all I'll say. In real life, people didn't know when there'd be a technological revolution.

45 Geomancers would be greatly appreciated. We thank you for your kind assistance.

OOC: Just put in your orders that you're sending them to me, and I'll use them in my battle plans...

@Lord_Iggy: If I use the Geomancers in a different place from the Aquamancers, there shouldn't be any bad effects, right?

From: Hawaii
To: Antarctica, other Penguin Nations

We would still welcome your assistance in this great struggle. However, we will not be threatened. Hawaii will never be extorted by any nation, and we were trying to make that clear.

From: Hawaii
To: China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kojaro, Elgovia

Greetings, neighbors! We wish only peace towards your nations. Would you agree to a non-agression pact?

From: Hawaii
To: Hyperborea

Greetings, neighbors! Would you agree to a non-agression pact, as well as trade to strengthen both our nations?

From Mongolia and China

Very well.

Yep.

Hawaii will never be extorted by any nation, and we were trying to make that clear.
From: Penguins
What's 'extortion' mean?

Don't worry, they won't.

From: Welikoslavia
To: Indus

We will consider it.

And what does Ur mean by us not controlling Anatolia? It is ours, and we can raise more men if that is what it takes to make you know for sure that it is ours.

*Imagines big fissure with huge clouds of steam sprouting from it*

This actually reminds me of how the world was torn apart in Eddings' Belgariad/Malloriad series.. The evil god Torak tore a continent apart, but when the water streamed in, eff'rythink was blown apart  Better not try it!

OOC: Our magicians can counter the magic of other right?

So if say the enemy had 30 wizards doing a spell we could tell our 30 wizards to nullify it, or cancel it out making usre it doesn't happen.

Then say if you have 40 wiazards you could nullify their 30 and then cast a spell with your remaining 10. Is this right?

Certainly! Do you wish begin trading? We have many foreign goods that we feel you would be interested in.

Trade is always good. We agree.

@Disenfranchised: Sorry, no trade this turn. I waited a day, and you didn't answer, so I'm trading with Elgovia instead.
