The sun hung high in the sky as Sutswana and other women of the village hunted for tonights feast. Thinking she had spotted a creature to feed them, she called out to the others and indicated the direction. They took their formations, ready to take down the beast. Sprinting in for the kill they reached back to throw their spears, but at the last moment she yelled out, "Halt! Halt! It is Garradi!" Just as quickly as they had lunged forward, the group stopped, bowing down before the High Shaman.
"Rise, all of you, for this is an occasion of celebration! I have returned from my great journey to the North, all I wish now is to recall my endeavour to our people."
"Yes Garradi. Utola, Komondi, take Garradi back to the village," commanded Sustawan, "The rest of you, we must hunt for the feast, tonight we celebrate the return of our greatness."
Truly the hunting party had done well, for the only complaints were those of too much food. As the people began to settle down from the frenzy of food, Garradi stood up and faced them all. Quickly a reverenced silence fell over the village, not even the crickets dared chirp.
"After many months, I have returned from my journey. I bring back with me great news from Giggodi, and what she asked of us to do." The High Shaman paused for a moment, letting it sink into the villagers minds. "She praisesd us for our offerings to her; the magnificent dances, delectable foods, and praiseworthy songs. But, she said that for too long have we let the people fall from her view. Now is the time to envoke her in the mind of the wild people! To teach them how to better, how to be great, how to be us! Tomorrow, we seek out the blood of ignorance, and sheperd the wild people into Giggodi's eyes!"
The villagers lept off the ground; jumping and dancing around the fire as a quick beat filled the air. They sang songs of the glorious battles that would soon come and the honor it would bring, as well as pleasing Giggodi.
After the feast the fastest runners were sent out to all the villages, telling of the great news and to prepare for tomorrow. When the runners returned to Garradi to confirm the message, it was noticed that a red sun was rising. Blood would soon be spilled.
