LINESII- Into the Darkness

The Main Changes of the Khemrian Monotheistics beleif are thusly:

1. All the Gods become one, This misinterpertation is shown through the fact that the Gods Nikkal and Rae "were as One" during the creation of the Universe. With the arguments put forth by Erezia over the complications a polytheistic Gods has over a monotheistic God support this. Thus the God, Nikkal-Rae. Eternally united.

2. Morally things stay roughly the same, although the zealots small input into the compromise alliance had its greatest effect here. It became a duty to teach others of the misinterpertations, that all Gods are One and the same, unless of course the moral teachings varied WILDLY from their own, in which case they were declared Deamons. Out to subvert the peoples into further troubles by corrupting their thoughts and due to the fraility of the human inperfection this could be accomplished.

3. The King was recognised as Gods Divinely elected Protecters of the Faith, and also the final adjudicator. (carefull balanced alongside the fact that the King was to be nuetral to all factions, and was not allowed to form such factions for his own support).

EDIT: Waiting on some more information regarding some other stories I have planned, although this is probably it when it concerns religion. :)

Nice Kal. What do you want your evolved religion to be called? As it isn't 'Khemri Polytheism' anymore.

Grr, for all of its ergonomics, I hate my mouse. It has forward/back buttons on it, which cause me to sometimes accidentally press the 'back' button, causing me to lose my stat update.

Fortunately, I had saved recently this time.

All stats are updated. Please hunt out errors, as it seems to be a hobby to some of you.

iggy i found an error in my stats

why am i not the most powerful awesome and general spectacular nation??!?!? :p

Because you didn't conquer Yath'al Shanaal when you had the chance, because you haven't written as many stories as other wildly successful nations. That's basically it. Although you get good moral points for sparing the Yath.

Objection! We spared eachother. :p

They thought they might have had reprieve when the Eldranians halted their advance and forded the River Wardash to attack Aney-Tigot.

Gorin is beginning to explore further up the River Wardash.

So, which of the river Wardashs mentioned is really the River Wardash, and what's the name of the other one?

To Numafer
From Khemri

We note that you are developing a new religion, we want your assurances that you are committed to protecting the followers of the Khemrian faith, and that they will be given equal standing amoung the other faith.

With the recent Terretorial Aquisitions, the Priesthood offered up to King Alexander, The Title "Divine Emperor Of All Imperial Khemri". Although this prompted nothing more than a slightly more impressed peasantry, it did prompt the Khemri Civil Administators to streamline Administration areas.

The Empire was split down into several seperate Administration areas, each with a regional govener appointed by the Emperor for as long as he saw fit. First we shall a have a brief overview of these areas.

The First area; Nikkal-Rae contains the poorest areas of Khemri Proper, it composed of the three cities of Nikkal, Rae and Khaso. Individually Nikkal and Rae, although as all river cities reaped a bountyfull yearly harvest a majority was shipped to Khadon, prior to shipping to foregin nations, some of it was even shipped back UP the river Khim, to be traded with the Numefar peoples. Khaso was, and will probably always be a poor city, being situated in the plains the agriculture is poor, as are the taxes. Indeed the most profitable career move in this City is to join the Khemri Army, it produces hardy warriors but this is overshadowed by other areas of the Empire (see later). Finally the one most obvious set-back to Economic Growth in Nikkal-Rae was the lack of any roads. The Emperors Imperial Highways were sorely lacking here. Any unrest however was off-put my the proportionally larger garrisons due to Numefar on the nearby Border.

The Second area; Alexandria, is a rich bustling City, noted for its cultural and thinkers. And although sidelined by nearby Khadon, Alexandrias main prupose is to appeal to the religiously minded. An Inspiring city, it floods with Pilgrimmes on the religious festivals, which more than boosts the local economy.

The Third Area; Khadon, As capital of Trade and Administration this city is The Richest in the Empire, Largely due the obscene amount of grain travelling through the port, as well as being the principle home and centre of the World.

The Fourth Area; Said; covers the northen Mountains and includes the second great mining city of Khi. These Cities were rich in comparison to other areas of the Empire, Said acting as the main corridor for all trade to the East. As well as being the principle mining and smelting areas of the Empire. Finally the Mountainous population created a hardy folk, as a disproportionate number of them became involved in the Military.

The fifth Area; Tregnau, encompasses the new Terretories of Tekrehexou. With the recent streamlining of Administration the areas richness has only recently come to light and is addressed in a later report. Of signicance to note is that, there was some discussion amoung the natives on the proper course of action. This has quietned down recently. It is intresting to note that these peoples often make the most zealous of priests, having been united with the true Divine Nation.

The sixth area, the Large island of Mainland Kehexou. Again this island is rich in resources and is addressed in another report. The Populance seems fairly happy with surrender terms, effectivly the taxes just go to someone-else, and some of the administrations rules have changed, but on the whole the peoples havn't noticed much.

The Final and seventh area, is the Archepeligo of islands ringing the main Island of Kehoxu, no Major Cities yet exist on this chain, although the Naval command (currently berefit of a fleet) are requesting that the largest Island have an City or major Port developed upon it, to function as a guard from southern Barbarians.

OOC: Two other strories coming soonish.

Tregnau, the Administrative city of the Tekrehexou terretories. Good grassland and Forests make the area rich, but not overly abdundant, with mineral deposits to the North. The Main reasons for the cities wealth depend on three things.

First The city as the regional Capital accumelates all excess surplas from the other areas of the territory and concentrates thems in one area, compounded by the absolute excess of natural fish around.

Second the Territory, newly roaded has become the secondary principle land route to the East after Said. Additionally it has become a port of call due to the large facilities made for the fishing boats, allowing ships en route to Khadon or on the way back to re-stock and bring on new provisions, even selling a portion of their Cargo.

Third. The Timber amoung the grasslands is excellant, it is precisily the stuff the Floodplanes and plains of Khemri Proper lack. A good Source of Hardwood. This has made it indespensible to the Navy and traders supplying the other great shipbuilders of the Empire and beyond.

Collectivly these make Trangu a rich city, whilst indivdually they would simply make the area richer than the norm.

Heh. I won't. Immortalized! Care to elaborate on the other thing I commented? :hmm:

Soloxau, Administrative capital of the Main Kehxou Island, and cultural capital of the Peoples religion; Oundainty. The island Lush and heavily forested. has prehaps the greatest known diversity and density of Fish Known to man. Local fishes have become a deliciy in Khadon and Alexandria due to their unique tastes and flavours, these are often served with spices unique to the Island Archepligo. And Soloaxu as the Islands Prinicple City and Port, processes all of this.

Secondly the Islands lie on the Only route to the South, with the peoples of Emor. And the Khemri Merchants can provide, through much to supply them with the goods and foods the Emor people used to Know. For Outrageous prices of course, but where else are the Emor people to get their Incense from?
