Update 3: Years 292-388: Dawn of Empires
The Eldranian crusade against the 'demons' of Dula-Hathran is growing bloodier by the day. The lord of the Dula, and the Chief of the beleagured Hathran both believed that loss was inevitable. So they personally led a defense at Highpass, and perished in combat. With the Dula-Hathran nation on the verge of collapse, its people chose the Gargari to defend and lead them. The first move of the Gargari was to retreat from Highpass. The Eldranians rejoiced at this, believing that their attempts to bribe the enemy general away had succeeded, and charged into the Kalmar River valley, slaughtering everyone they saw.
Then the Gargari reappeared, now behind the forces of Eldrania in the pass. But what the Eldranians was definitely not suspected by any Gargari officers. Rather than trying to retake the pass and possibly lose their army, the Eldranians proceeded to run rampage through Dula lands. Taken off guard, but not completely, the Gargari and remaining Dula-Harthran forces began to raid the large Eldranian host. But the Eldranians were not being seriously hurt by these hit and run attacks.
The Eldranians, heading straight down to the river, reached the capital city of Dula and attacked it with almost no warning. The vastly outnumbered and terrified defenders put up a strong defense, but it didn't last long. Just as the Eldranian forces began to enter the city, the Gargari/Dula-Hathran army caught up with the Eldranians and engaged them in full attack. The battle was long and vicious, and in the end resulted in the destruction of most of the citizens of the city of Dula, thousands of Gargari warriors, and the entirety of the Eldranian force. Once again, both sides were too exhausted to continue fighting any more. For all their losses, the Eldranians have not kept a single inch of land, but have destroyed the Dula-Hathran people. The Gargari have made much more visible gains, in claiming the Dula-Hathran lands and the rememants of their people.
Gar Kersey has become a center of trade, being the most convenient northern location to trade with the Aneyans, among other things. It has also been the base for several expeditions up into Nkondi. These have yet to pass out of known land.

Celebrations spread through the Kalmar Union as the Great Port of Copenholm is completed. The influx of trade has already compensated for the loss of many workers as the project was rushed at the very end.

Khemri has founded the two cities of Khi and Khaso, in the north and south respectively. Khi, a fortified mining town, is being used as a point to mine for obsidian. With the increased need for heavy transportation, and increased use of the wheel, Khemri has developed the first proper road, from Khi to the river Khim across from Khadon.
The city of Khaso is was planned to be a trading and farming center, but this isn't turning out well. The larger and more convenient to reach port of Khadon is still attracting all of the trade, and the poorer soils around Khaso can't compete with the Khim Delta.
As Nurmafer exoduses eastwards, Khemri is beginning to fill in the newly abandoned lands in the west. Nurmafer's expansion and exploration has been halted by a great ridge of mountains at the headwaters of the River Khim.
The people of Kehexou have established their first majour city, on the newly discovered island to their homeland's south. With the government becoming increasingly centralized on the island, but the majority of the population remaining on the mainland, tensions are beginning to rise.
The Mogulian religion of Brahmanism has arisen. It has gained a significant following in Delhi, but not as much in the rest of the nation (name your city Finmaster). The caste-based system that is part of the religion has already been imposed upon the nation in law by the Great Mogul Akbar.

Animism and Khemri Polytheism are losing support in Gerber as Oratheism continues to proliferate. The city of Leptis has been founded further up the River Wardash. Upriver explorations have brought the Gerbers into contact with the Yath al'Shanaal, Qua'laen Jal, and Gorin.
The city of Zarz has been renamed to 'Tellium' by the Veritasians.
The Veritas/Zibon war continued, with Veritas striking back viciously at the Zibonese, in vengeance of their fallen comrades from the battle for Zarz/Tellium (not noting the fact that it was Veritas who instigated the war). A massive force assembled just downhill from the capital city of Zang, and prepared for a massive strike against the city's small garrison. Much to Veritas' surprise, no reinforcements would arrive at the city, and thus no chance at a decisive battle was made. It was soon after the battle of Zizar that the Zibonese discovered that the entire 'massive army' was a hoax. It was merely a massive camp, with only a few hundred Veritasians acting as thousands.
The real fighting was to happen to the north and south. One of the major Veritasian forces, The Host of Order, planning to travel around south of Zang and attack from there, ran into a Zibonese force at the small town of Zizar. The Zibonese were travelling in the opposite direction with the intent to retake Zarz. The forces were almost identical in numbers. But the Veritasians were not prepared for a battle at such short notice, as they were racing through what they had believed to be relatively undefended land. The Zibonese were much more prepared, travelling with the expectation that they would be fighting Veritas all the way.
The Zibonese charged on first sight, slaying hundreds of Veritasians in the first few minutes of combat. But the Veritasians started to get their act together. Their advantage of ranged firepower became a critical advantage over the Zibonese force, which was armed only with heavy spears. This would have likely won them the battle, if it hadn't been for the fact that their forces were broken up into several groups at the start of combat. The Zibonese forces, sensing a possible victory, began an all-out attack. While the Veritasians constantly attempted to group together, constant strikes from the Zibonese made this next to impossible. As Veritasian losses reached the edge of being serious, the Veritasian leader, Host-Lord Tarkos, ordered a retreat. The remaining Veritasians retreated back to the city of Zarz, and fortified. The Zibonese quickly caught up, and surrounded them. Zarz was once again beseiged, but this time the tables are turned.
Meanwhile in the north, another Zibonese army conquered the Veritasian colony north of their lands. From there they began rapidly building a new navy. No sooner than the time of its completion, another Veritasian army, The Host of Truth, arrived by sea. Once again, the Zibonese and Veritasians battled for control of the seas, this time at the Zarzian bay. After a brief battle, the Zibonese navy was sunk once again, and the Veritasians retook their colony.
Soon after, things started to go badly for Zibon. Barbarians to the north, believed to be supported by Veritas, began to raid Zibon's border. The Zibonese, afraid to pull troops away from other fronts, were unable to put up a strong resistance to these people. At the same time, the Host of Truth began to move down into Zibonese lands. The Zibonese force attempting to retake Zarz was forced to raise the siege and fight off the Host of Truth.
While the Zibonese tried to hold off the invasions from the north, Veritas regrouped in the south and began to attack again. The exhausted Zibonese forces began to lose ground on all fronts. The Host of Truth pushed all the way to Zang from the east, the Host of Order from the south, and the barbarians from the northwest. Zibon was besieged in its capital, all other lands were lost. Knowing that defeat was inevitable, the leaders of Zibon surrendered to Veritas. The victors accepted the surrender, and permitted the leaders of Zibon and their closest followers to leave unscathed, and travel to wherever the One had planned for them. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.
High in the hills of former Zibon, a unique material has been discovered by Veritas. It is a bright shiny orange, and can be hammered flat by a strong man with a hammer.

Immediately after the war, the barbarians who aided Veritas found themselves in control of a vast tract of land. Their leader, Emrus, knew that it would quickly collapse back into a group of squabbling tribes. Killing his brother Omrulus to consolidate his power, Emrus then founded the city of Emor north of the hills of Zang, in the style of the Veritasians. Lord Emrus now rules over a vast land. A good friendship with the Veritasans to the south has developed, and the Church of the One will always be a uniting factor in these nations.
Yath al'Shanaal has gone to war with Gorin! There was apparently no justification for this war, other than the greed of Viski Lasi.
Leading up to the war, several 'traitors' from the Yath al'Shanaal travelled to Gorin, giving them word of attack from overthe River Wardash. Not entirely trusting this information, the Gorin nonetheless posted guards on the river as a precaution.
The truth about the traitors was that they were deliberately sent by the Yath'al Shanaal to mislead the Gorin. For the Yath al'Shanaal were not going to attack from across a ford in the river as the information had suggested. They were going to cross upstream and downstream, then attack from behind. This plan would have worked fine- if it hadn't been for one soldier slipping and getting swept downriver, drifting right past the Gorin soldiers guarding the river. The war was on.
Gorin's army mobilized immediately, and began to fight off the Yath al'Shanaal spearmen and warriors as they landed. The River Wardash was stained with blood, and the attempted crossing failed. This has been the only fighting of the war so far. For the Gorin, not wanting to be proven of violence, have not attempted to cross the river and attack their aggressors. At the same time, soldiers from the Yath al'Shanaal stand on the far side of the river, taunting the Gorin.
While the Qua'laen Jal have an alliance with the Yath al'Shanaal, they haven't yet fought the Gorin, except for the battle for the ford, where they were under the leadership of the Yath al'Shanaal.
