I checked for lost income from golden age but didn't check for lost MPs: Persepolis, Pasargadae, Antioch riot
Scroll ahead to stop riots is perfectly valid in the LK series. In fact, it is highly encouraged. I really don't like hearing multiple cities in riot.

IBT-Umma flips (just a couple of immos lost)
We really need Artemis to start building a decent culture rate to stop these in the future.

One thing I can't tell from the reports is how many nations are we at war with? I really hope it is only one. Even at regent it would be silly to be playing AW when not needed.

Remember 10 turns per round - STRICT 24 hours got it, total 48 to complete.
Repeat player restriction: You may NOT play a second round unless:
1) At least 2 different players in front of you.
2) The game has been IDLE for over 48 hours.
My goal is to let a ton of people play in this milestone game.

Special Restrictions:
We may NEVER leave the ancient ages. ONE AA tech must be left unresearched so that we **DON'T** get our free tech.
** The game will be terminated and closed if the above rule is violated - period. No replay, and no second chance.
The game MUST be won by domination.
HINT: The Temple of Artemis will never expire.
HINT2: Expect a lot of fighting, so Monarchy is the preferred government.

The odd thing is there was no pop-up with the riots, so it was impossible to scroll ahead (now that I think about it, perhaps there is some preference that was unchecked?)
Edit: Yes; next player, make sure "show civil disorder pop-up" is checked. I can't remember any recent game where that wasn't checked.
Note to self: remember to check preferences during preturn.

We're at war with the Aztecs and they've sent a couple of warriors; I was hoping to get a couple of gold out of them, but I guess it's not worth it.

WT???? I don't know who changed this preference. Can the next player pease fix this. We are still waiting for a got it from for next player.

The screwed up preferences really bothered me. I wanted to know when they happened. I first found them at the end of the 2150BC turn. This was when Tomoyo played. This was the same round with the impossible to find save that I ONLY reason I found it was I going to quote the here it is comment.

Tomoyo - why did you turn this off? This is really a BAD set of preferences.

NEXT PLAYER - Fix the riot pop up option!

I took a look at the game. Ur will most likely be the city to complete Artemis. This is the key to our victory. *DON'T* even try for Ur until Artemis is built. After we get Artemis Sumeria must be wiped from the face of the earth.

What happened to our Ancient Cavalry? We have Zeus, but not a single AC in the game.
I realize this is "only" regent, but why do we have empty cities and unescorted settlers? Not to mention that we are wasting the more expensive immortals on defensive duty where spearman should be.

I got it. It would be an honor to play in this game.
I won't pick up until a little more discussion because I would prefer some clarity.
Here's what I know
--Disorder thing needs fixing
--no more trades.
--Use the immortals and put spears kin cities. Settlers could use escorts.
--make peace with the Aztecs? Ur and Sumeria are the ultimate targets. Other than Ur am I razing?
--Ur was going to grow in 13 and produce ToA in 16 at the start of Tim's turn so I would think I I should be at Ur's doorstep by 5 or 6? Is this agreeable?
--AC's are being built. One was killed on Tim's 8th turn.
--Does Lagash really need to be abandoned??

Anything else I've missed?

I would keep cities unless they are major flip risks. Each city adds to our domination total. I would also wait until Ur builds ToA to be sure they build it. If we declare war earlier, they might swap the build - better safe then sorry.

I'm sorry for the option turned off! (It's just that I'm way too used to it off... :()

From what i remember the Aztecs are too far away to be a major threat but with empty cities....Also LK doesn't like false wars so go for peace unless it costs us anything.
We are already at war with Sumeria but moving next to Ur may occupy the worked tiles and slow the build down.

I suspect you only play at lower levels. Having multiple riots at deity can be fatal. I have already lost a wonder by one turn. That one turn was due to a riot. LK games should always have the riot popup.

We are already at war with Sumeria. However, I felt that us starting to send immortals toward the town BEFORE it completes Artemis was the wrong tactic. The best way to stop flips is a better culture rating. Free temples in every city will really help that. I wouldn't get close to Ur until the temple is BUILT.

I agree 100% with this. Read my response to Ginger_Ale.

If this is a reference to avoiding more tech, you are correct.

The second you get the pop-up that ToA is completed move on the city.

I prefer one target at a time. ToA is the key to winning this, so I want Sumeria to be THE focus and put out of the game. Any other war distracts from this goal.

Roger that.

OK after two turns I got this. I think a AC army (1 now and 2 more by the end of my turn). I will stay here for a few minutes for any comments if not I'll play another turn and come back.

To my defense, I don't think that one riot is fatal... you're exaggerating a bit.

But I'll concede any points that I can make and keep any conflict at a minimum and apologise for the preferences...

I can't recall the exact game, but I was beat to a wonder by *ONE* turn. I screwed up and that city rioted during the wonder building. If you take away the riot I would have build the wonder. I call that one riot a killer.

@Tomoyo
I wonder why you like the preference that way? multiple riots ain't nice, so what's the purpose to off that pop up option? speed up the game?

@whomp
agree with that army, even if it will take some time to fill it

I like the preference that way because, whenever there is a regular riot (because of carelessness), I have to choose one of the three to continue. My reflexes usually tell me to choose the entertainer option or the zoom option. The zoom option isn't bad, but I sometimes end up with and entertainer unchecked for several turns...
