Medicine isn't enough for Steam Power from Zulu or Persia, with which we already have ongoing peace treaties. I sell Magnetism to Greece for 58gpt.
I sell Magnetism to Egypt for 337g. Sell Medicine to Songhai for WM+4g+133gpt+gems (yeah, do not underestimate backward AIs. Sometimes they got big money).
I reneg peace with India and trade 322gpt (all our gpt) for 5636g+MA vs Brazil. It has some risk so we would be at war with India after Brazil is gone, but we don't fear too much anyway.
Buy Steam Power from Persia for Medicine + 3334g. sell Medicine to Zulu for Military Tradition+712g.
I gift Greece to IA, and it gets Nationalism! I trade Medicine+Steam+Democracy+Military Tradition for it. This is really nice, as Persia and Russia lack it.
I sell Nationalism to Russia for Industrialization+WM+780g+16gpt. Nationalism to Persia for 3340g to get our money back.
With the money I establish embassies with some big AIs.
China: Beijing is size 10, 38spt building cav every 2 turns. It has 5 lux. No coal. Guarded by 6 riflemen and 1 cav. It's at war with the world bribed by India. Its power has been shrinking a bit (Beijing is next to a Mongolian city).
Persia: Persepolis is size 12, 23spt building cavalry. Guarded by 4 musketmen. 4 lux and all strat resources.
Mongol: Karakorum is size 12, 21spt building cavalry. 7 lux but no coal. Guarded by 4 musketmen.
We have coal at Portelaza (west to the slave) but unconnected. There is another source close to the unclaimed horses (see below). We need to claim it asap.
To next leader: we are catching up in tech. India is clearly the tech leader but I've not seen ToE message yet.
The Greek hoplite will hopefully retreat from the choke and we can then finish Brazil off (it's their last city).
Remember to move armies off Porto Alegre next turn to avoid flip.
There is also an Aztec MDI/settler pair as shown in the screenshot. I'm blocking its way.
After that we'll be at war with India as the MA is broken. India might bribe others to declare on us, which we don't really care too much. The only thing is it might bribe Aztecs before we are ready, so we could delay killing off Brazil a bit.
We have a settler that could settle the choke point next turn (if we kill the pike).
We have 6700g in bank that we could use to upgrade our forces. We do not need to upgrade those military police, but we do need some riflemen at the choke before we start the war. Once it starts, our armies could form a "Channel of Doom" to make every Aztec unit to lose hp due to Zone of Control. It might also be a good idea to get a railnet before that.
There is still a Venezuela pike and a Brazilian spear at our border. Watch out.
I started min research on Sanitation.
Oh, don't forget we can start our GA once we have our UU (which is really just a normal cavalry AFAICS). Perfect time for some factory build.
