I thought he would have starved to death on Britain, since there is nothing to eat.

Says a person from a country where you can get spray-on cheese.

Thanksgiving is winning so far. I'm a bit disappointed in the turnout for Whuppity Scoorie.

Not sure how you read polls, but my computer screen says he will be immoratal is winning.

Yeah but I discounted the obvious joke answers.

It says there are a lot of people who think they are funny in CFC OT.

We also know he has terminal cancer, and that he was not well enough to be interviewed. You're such a strong proponent of your elaborate conspiracy theories, yet you can't make this simple deduction? Connect the dots, MobBoss.

Here are a few dots for you Mise. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,544786,00.html?test=latestnews

Most interestingly:

There was no way to independently verify al-Megrahi's condition, and the Libyan official offered no further details. Al-Megrahi underwent extensive medical testing before Scottish officials confirmed his cancer diagnosis, but questions have been raised about the seriousness of his condition.

The London-based Asharq Al-Awssat newspaper last Wednesday quoted al-Megrahi's father as saying that the former Libyan inmate was not dying.

"It is not that serious as some news media have been portraying," Ali al-Megrahi told the newspaper. "I see he is improving day by day, and he is better than the day he returned."

Maybe his dad is just being optimistic instead of being truthful. In denial in fact.

Think so, Mise?

I'll take the professional medical opinion of the Scottish doctors that confirmed his terminal cancer and gave him a few months to live thanks. Keep fishing.

Who's fishing? Just giving you the published insights of what some of his family seems to think by their time spent with him.

Fishing would be linking a pic of him in an oxygen mask and selling it as if it proves he's about to die.

Fwiw, I hope the guy dies, peacefully, with his family present and this all gets laid to rest as quickly as possible. If the guy makes some kind of miracle recovery, that just creates a lot more problems for Scotland and the UK, and while I dont agree with the decision to release him, I dont necessarily want to see this paraded under their noses for years to come if the guy doesnt die.

You Britains have some silly holiday names, I couldn't make heads or tails of this thing except for maybe Thanksgiving so I voted Burning of the Clavie because I'm assuming that hes going to be the Clavie.

I'm English and I only heard of two of them - Hogmanay is some Scottish thing and Thanksgiving is normally some Yank thing.

The same Scottish doctors who chopped a gold-ball out of his peroneum?

You - you're fishing. You're desperate and you're wrong, and we can all see it.

Uhm. No. Whats desparate is desparately telling someone else how desparate they are.

Thats a fact, jack.

And what I am wrong about? I was right about the behind the scenes deal issues, and I havent said the guy wasnt terminally ill - I have just asked the question of what happens if he doesnt die according to those experts in Scotland.

I have publically said I disagree with his release, but thats not wrong per se either. In fact, it holds true with the majority opinion in Scotland, the UK and the USA.

You see, you desperately want this guy to die, or at least appear really, really ill in order to justify the Scots actions. Not sure what your're going to do if he makes some kind of recovery, or doesnt die within that 3 months. Fall apart I suppose...

Mobby just for the record how do you feel about all the scumbags on both sides who were released when NI settled down? Was this a necessary part of peace and reconciliation? Given the US is on the record as reconciling with Lybia are such moves justified? Do you object to the US reconciling with Lybia? Should every nation be able to reconcile with Lybia except Scotland?

In short what makes these terrorist so different from every other released terrorist? I'm sure that they killed Americans sticks in your throat, but what makes that more worthy of continuing ructions than the deaths of each mothers son in Ulster?

Saying that you're desperate isn't being desperate. Sometimes you just have to let people who can't understand things feel safe in their little world.

Donald Rumsfeld just said that this guy will die in six days, six weeks, six months tops.

Translation - he will probably live forever.
