Love in Dreams

You ever have a dream where you were in love with someone in the dream and then you woke up and actually felt kind of sad?

I had one last night that lasted, in the dream, for probably months and now that I've woken up to normal, crappy life, I am just a little sad.


Anyone? Just me? Okay.

I had a dream a couple nights ago that I was still in a relationship with my ex from a few years back.

Boy, that was a smack to the face when I woke up.

I've had three instances in my life where I had multi-year long dreams. Living an incredible life for a while and then coming back to the one I live is... depressing. I don't even know how it's possible to live years in a matter of hours but I can't really pretend it never happened.

But yes, in one particular life I was in my 20s and was married with a child. When it ended, it was awful.

Hah, indeed. It was one of those dreams that you get really sucked into, so by the time you wake up you feel a bit nostalgic.

I've had lots of dreams like that. Sometimes I fall in love with someone in a dream that I know in real life and when I wake up I'm still in love with them, even though they're total buttholes in real life, then I can't get them out of my mind.

Actually, you almost certainly have. You just don't remember it. Its a shame, cause though I feel a bit sad when I wake from them, I'd never want to give them up.

I had one of those the other day. I got over it in a day though.

A few days later I had another one with the same girl.

I've had that, but I've also had a feeling of tremendous relief when it turns out that there aren't really any minotaurs, so it's fair trade off.
