I see. For me there is only one Persia; pre-Alexander empire.
I can recall JFD's Peter the Great with dof bonus. And Stalin. In general, Russia seems more "splittable" with their history.

I think I am gonna pass on the Wrymouth since civ would be too similar to the Brave's one.
Augustus the Strong, I think he is not valid as Polish leader. Being fair, Poland was like a city-state and he wasn't even elected. He was quite ambitious, but Machiavelli said that Prince needs luck and some people know who were lucky in those times. I am not truely into German estates, but he might be valid leader for Saxony (there is 2,5k dimension portrait so leaderscene wouldn't be an issue). Though I am not gonna force myself into traits.

Umm, I need about an extra hour to complete Bathory's scene, but it's already looks great despite his lack of face.

I'm always torn about whether or not to call her Slovak - her castle was in Čachtice, Slovakia, but she was an awful person, so it's probably better to say that the Hungarians are resposible for that. As they are for all other evils in this world. :p

I have been too long on this forum to assume anything based on name, avatar and signature. :p
 
Some updates.

  • Set I
    • Hetman AI fix (important)
    • Haida code is more smooth now, and naval units can easily visit Ancient Ruins again
  • Set II
    • Update only if you have mini heart-attack while finding runtime error in logs.
  • Set V
    • Olmec extra AI support.
    • Olmec UU code improved a bit.
    • Scottish UB is no longer automatically dig up one nearby artifact, but theming bonuses are increased by 1 instead.
  • Set VII
    • Cherokee bug fixed
    • Cherokee new vector icon

I wanted to update Flanders as well, but somehow decided that possibility to convert Great Merchant points into other bonuses is a bit too cheesy. I am gonna delay it a bit.
Therefore, next updates are gonna be sets XIII, IX (Qin polishing, I have also met Timurid Tapirua, which shouldn't ever ever happened, because I don't even coded it to work for somebody else than Tahiti) and XII with Caribbean serious redesign.

I edited Sumer's flavours and set XIV will be updated once I got some nice results. (in two games they build 0 wonders)


Overall, not much to do.

  • Set IX
    • Tahitian Tiparua should work even if somehow stolen by other civ
    • Gauls' UB now grants extra +2.5 Defense if city is not built on hills (extra citizens reduced back to 1)
    • New Gauls' UA: Up to 5 Barbarians join you each time you acquire Great General. Barbarians do no attack you. <<Yaa, extra production towards military units at war turned out to be too popular>>
    • Qin UA ~ mechanical change, units in 3rd radius are 30% less effective in intimidating enemy city.
    • Qin UU ~ balance tweaks, heals only up to 20 and only for adjacent units, but promotion is not lost on upgrade
    • New Qin Leaderscene:

  • Set XII
    • Genoese UU no longer can attack in melee (extra strength remains)
    • Genoese UB luxury resource "attached" changes every 30 turns instead after successful mission.
    • New Genoese UA: Quantity of luxury resources gifted by City-States is tripled.
    • Caribbean UU (Buccaneer): Can switch between land and naval form even without needed technology. Both forms receive Double Plunder promotion (Landknecht).
    • New Caribbean UA: Cities gain +1 Gold per turn for every local luxury resource. Earns points towards next Great Corsair for every naval trade route you are part of.
    • Great Corsair now has only one ability ~ he can plunder Cargo Ships around the world without much control (but earns gold for you). He appears, plunder and if not killed, disappears next turn to attack again. Some screenshots from early stage:
  • Set XIII
    • Turned out AI doesn't handle new Flanders' ability, so some placeholder for now.
