Update 1: I Believe What You Believe
Years 0-100

Well, well back so soon eh? I knew you couldn’t resist. Well here we are, time goes by ever so slowly and the people of our little world have changed ever so much in this brief century. Violence, peace, no wait violence again. Holy conflicts begin, and nations end. Or do they? Well lets find out.

We begin once again in the peaceful lands of Cradilon, work begins on the House of Taig, but work is never finished on the project as shortly after negotiations are made with Silat for peace and prosperity, the Venerable Shifu Guru decides it is best to not have rivals in his valley. And declares hostilities in secret on the Cradilon people. First by sending cultural advisors who sneak in and try unsuccessfully to kill The One. He and the royal family with several surviving crusaders escape through a newly built tunnel under the House of Taig construction area. They flee with all the people they can gather into the mountains as the Martial Fighters of Silat wreck havoc on the unsuspecting town folk. As they push deeper into Cradilon holy lands, they find pockets of resistance. But the Spearmen of Mergon and Crusaders that fight are no match for the agile and highly trained martial fighters. They fight as hard as they can but are ill prepared. They are over taken within hours. And far reaches within two days. The remaining Cradilon peoples flee into the mountains and begin to plan their counter attack to regain their holy land. Back in Silat homelands the Missionaries of Taigonism are murdered via snapping of their necks. And as all this fighting has brought back tons of plunder already, Pencak becomes a center of trade in the region. Just as the Silat soldiers are feeling of victory they realize something is going on across the river. Faithful followers of the Tensiri religion have come together to claim there day in the sun. They pushed through the highly unguarded lands in the south of Silat Proper until they reach the only troops left. This is were they are stopped. But how long can they fight once the Martial Fighters come back to fight them? (+ Pencak Economic Center,+ 1 Confidence and Culture Silat, Cradilon - 1300 Spearmen, -200 Crusaders, Silat -1200 Martial Fighters, +Tensiri as Nation, + Culture, -200 Spearmen)

The Doridan Confederacy does some basic expansion and grows its military. It is formed under the Dictator Boris. They have the potential , but do they have the leadership to be great?

Hoggonogr is formed north of the Empire of Ricin. They seem to be descendants of the barbarians that once terrorized the Ricinians and forced them into unity. Now they are battle ready, battle lovers who can’t go a week without getting that war itch. The average folk are nice farmers. But when provoked, or they decide to do such they will pick up a stick, sharpen the tip and you can guess. They even kill their own children at age ten if they are deemed weak. Sounds like someone has issues.

The people of Sayitia, or I should say Women, are blood thirsty. They will not take any grief from any man. And as they expand they come across such men. Barbaric men who degrade women. And of course they meet their ends at the tips of spears. As the Sayitians expand across the river they found a new city. And in this city they keep slaves that they capture on expansion/conquest missions. Bet they wish they hadn’t degraded women now. (+ Culture, -300 Spearwomen)

As we move east from the deep dark jungles into the open grasslands where the barbarians play. We see once again the Konarai Tribe in all its glory. It has grown via violence to become the largest tribe in the area. But the barbarians didn’t give up without a fight. Many casualties on the Konarai side, but lots of plunder and women to. Raping and Pillaging is their way of life. They even recruit young men who want to fight as Raiding Militia against other tribes. As they fight the barbarians they bring in their elite soldiers the Kotashi Raiders, who are highly skilled axe men who use light bows to weaken their enemies before they come in for the kill. Using these tactics they were highly successful until they reached the foothills of the mountains. Where fast movement is fatiguing on the human body. And the here is where the barbarians hold out between two mountain rivers. But their time is running out and the Konarai warriors are blood thirsty. (-400 Kotashi Raiders, -100 Militia Raiders,-300 Spearmen,+1 Rural Economy)

In the Empire of Ricin, a man named Morales has come to power. He has the people worshipping him as a god. He tells them he has saved them from barbarians and that he will lead them to greatness. They made him their king and now their armies grow and their courage to. Anyone who is within their eyesight better watch out.

The Kingdom of Porisma, is a small monarchy based off of trading In the Great Lake Eage. It’s tiny, under powered but it has a decent navy. It rules the lake in a monopoly of trade. It’s future is certainly good, and expensive to. Upper Class for the win.

Overall Barbarian/Tribes movements. Mainly spreading over cradle.

OOC: This updates still aren’t long enough, I hope its not me. I am trying to make them long but its up to you players if the updates are boring or interesting. So keep that in mind.

Swissempire I knew I could not trust you......

From Cradilon
To Tensiri

We have a common enemy help us fight the Silat. We only want our homelands returned to us and we will allow you take over all of Silat with freedom to worship who you wish.

From Cradilon
To Silat

Your betrayal of our NAP and pillaging of our homeland will be met with the fury of the followers of Taig. We will not rest until our homeland and religious sites are reclaimed.

Hmm, I didn't so much want to be a nation as a religion... oh well.

Sorry Iggy, just I saw a oppurtunity for something interesting. If you don't want to play it then you don't have to. it is a relgious following not really a nation.

Infastructure stat added. Sorry i MISSED it i nthe urles. It's there now.

Well, I suppose I'm in.

To: Cradilon
From: The Prophet Ijail of Tensiri

Though you follow a different faith than us, your words are true, and we shall cooperate together against this common enemy.

Perhaps we can work to some understanding between our religions.

From Cradilon
To Prophet Ijail of Tensiri

We will tolerate and find ways to peacefully coexist despite our religious differences.

To the Ricin
From Hoggonogr
We peacefully and respectfull request that you send us 1 economy point per turn as a sign of good will. May our bonds grow stronger with you agreement.

From Lord Piaf Gorschan
To Peoples of the Mountains

We have been driven from our homes and driven into your lands by a savage people of Silat. If you help us reclaim our homes we will forever leave your lands. We promise also to pay you well once our treasury is reclaimed and the enemy crushed.

OOC:@Lucky- Here's my religion, for a religious description post if you want one by the stats.

There is one infinite universe. All of it, regardless of distance, is tied together, in one vast 'cosmic knot'. Everything you do affects something else. The universe constantly strives for greater good, evil acts are ultimately repaid, good acts are, in their own direct or roundabout way, rewarded. One god, which is all-pervasive, governs the universe. It is not perfect, but it is good in its intentions.

And Cradilon, this is Tensiri. Please, tell us of your beliefs.

Here is my nation description. We are also monotheistic:

Taigonism: All followers of Taig believe they placed the first humans in the sheltered river valley to spread across the world. The four prophets wrote the beginning of creation and other major religious events and spiritual guidance in the Barson what is believed to be the first recorded writings of man. The afterlife is a paradise for all if they follow the words of the Barson and live their life by it. The One promises to interpret the words of the Barson for the people since many are illiterate and creates rules for the people to live by based on the Barson.

Hmm, it seems that our faiths are not mutually exclusive. Your afterlife is a punishment or reward for acts in life, posthumously rather than later in life (IE: Karma).

What's the Barson?

You take us as fools? We will never do such a thing. Speak again and we will slice your tongues out of your throats.

To: Tensiri
From: Silat

We warn you of the treachery of Cradilon. On there missionaries we found concealed daggers for slaughtering our people, and there are many rumours of them taking our children as slaves.

Our scouts have told us our religions are almost identical(ooc: COPYCAT! j/k), so we would gladly let you be an autonmous religion within our state. We would even give you the same recognition as the Great Families.

To: Cradilon
From: Silat

You backstabbers who try to blame this on us. You would have killed our people if we did not follow your religion. We fought for survival. We fight for our people, we fight for our children, and we fight for OUR HOMELAND!

OOC: Luckymoose.........were my orders really that difficult to read that you SKIPPED LIKE TWO-THIRDS OF THEM!!!!!!!!

And Farow, you took my starting spot and wanted to convert me, what did you expect.

And Iggy..........welcome. I can grant you wish of wanting to be a religion if you want.

Swissempire, I never had any intentions of forcefully converting your nation. I just asked my missionaries be allowed in your lands and you said yes. Why do you think I bothered with the diplomacy of staying on our different sides of the river and the NAP? Actually Swissempire you took my starting spot since I told Luckymoose to put me there on AIM before you posted in the thread :).

From Cradilon
To Tensiri

We hope you remain with our side as the Silat have no intentions of peacefully coexisting with you just like they had no intentions of peacefully coexisting with us. They broke an NAP, attempted to assasinate The One, and killed misssionaries on a peaceful mission which they allowed.

From Cradilon
To Silat

You really expect us to take that kind of abuse. We really were going to slaughter your people with 20 missionaries. Either get a brain screwed on or admit that you have every intention to wipe us off the map. Even if we lose the upcoming battles the The One, The Lord, and The Barson will escape and we will one day return to reclaim what is rightfully ours and make sure every traitorous scum who mercilessly slaughtered our people are brought to be judged by Taig himself. Be warned Taig will not stand for such betrayal!!!

You can take our homelands, our religious sites, our families, our farms, our life but you cannot take away our faith that we will emerge victorious and the messages of Taig will survive!!!
