Update 1: I Believe What You Believe
Years 0-100
Well, well back so soon eh? I knew you couldn’t resist. Well here we are, time goes by ever so slowly and the people of our little world have changed ever so much in this brief century. Violence, peace, no wait violence again. Holy conflicts begin, and nations end. Or do they? Well lets find out.
We begin once again in the peaceful lands of
Cradilon, work begins on the House of Taig, but work is never finished on the project as shortly after negotiations are made with
Silat for peace and prosperity, the Venerable Shifu Guru decides it is best to not have rivals in his valley. And declares hostilities in secret on the Cradilon people. First by sending cultural advisors who sneak in and try unsuccessfully to kill The One. He and the royal family with several surviving crusaders escape through a newly built tunnel under the House of Taig construction area. They flee with all the people they can gather into the mountains as the Martial Fighters of Silat wreck havoc on the unsuspecting town folk. As they push deeper into Cradilon holy lands, they find pockets of resistance. But the Spearmen of Mergon and Crusaders that fight are no match for the agile and highly trained martial fighters. They fight as hard as they can but are ill prepared. They are over taken within hours. And far reaches within two days. The remaining Cradilon peoples flee into the mountains and begin to plan their counter attack to regain their holy land. Back in Silat homelands the Missionaries of Taigonism are murdered via snapping of their necks. And as all this fighting has brought back tons of plunder already, Pencak becomes a center of trade in the region. Just as the Silat soldiers are feeling of victory they realize something is going on across the river. Faithful followers of the
Tensiri religion have come together to claim there day in the sun. They pushed through the highly unguarded lands in the south of Silat Proper until they reach the only troops left. This is were they are stopped. But how long can they fight once the Martial Fighters come back to fight them? (+ Pencak Economic Center,+ 1 Confidence and Culture Silat, Cradilon - 1300 Spearmen, -200 Crusaders, Silat -1200 Martial Fighters, +Tensiri as Nation, + Culture, -200 Spearmen)
The
Doridan Confederacy does some basic expansion and grows its military. It is formed under the Dictator Boris. They have the potential , but do they have the leadership to be great?
Hoggonogr is formed north of the Empire of Ricin. They seem to be descendants of the barbarians that once terrorized the Ricinians and forced them into unity. Now they are battle ready, battle lovers who can’t go a week without getting that war itch. The average folk are nice farmers. But when provoked, or they decide to do such they will pick up a stick, sharpen the tip and you can guess. They even kill their own children at age ten if they are deemed weak. Sounds like someone has issues.
The people of
Sayitia, or I should say Women, are blood thirsty. They will not take any grief from any man. And as they expand they come across such men. Barbaric men who degrade women. And of course they meet their ends at the tips of spears. As the Sayitians expand across the river they found a new city. And in this city they keep slaves that they capture on expansion/conquest missions. Bet they wish they hadn’t degraded women now. (+ Culture, -300 Spearwomen)
As we move east from the deep dark jungles into the open grasslands where the barbarians play. We see once again the
Konarai Tribe in all its glory. It has grown via violence to become the largest tribe in the area. But the barbarians didn’t give up without a fight. Many casualties on the Konarai side, but lots of plunder and women to. Raping and Pillaging is their way of life. They even recruit young men who want to fight as Raiding Militia against other tribes. As they fight the barbarians they bring in their elite soldiers the Kotashi Raiders, who are highly skilled axe men who use light bows to weaken their enemies before they come in for the kill. Using these tactics they were highly successful until they reached the foothills of the mountains. Where fast movement is fatiguing on the human body. And the here is where the barbarians hold out between two mountain rivers. But their time is running out and the Konarai warriors are blood thirsty. (-400 Kotashi Raiders, -100 Militia Raiders,-300 Spearmen,+1 Rural Economy)
In the
Empire of Ricin, a man named Morales has come to power. He has the people worshipping him as a god. He tells them he has saved them from barbarians and that he will lead them to greatness. They made him their king and now their armies grow and their courage to. Anyone who is within their eyesight better watch out.
The
Kingdom of Porisma, is a small monarchy based off of trading In the Great Lake Eage. It’s tiny, under powered but it has a decent navy. It rules the lake in a monopoly of trade. It’s future is certainly good, and expensive to. Upper Class for the win.
Overall Barbarian/Tribes movements. Mainly spreading over cradle.
