LuckNES V

I am being lied to.

BY YOU.

OOC: I will now ask for the name of the nation with which I proposed such an alliance and you, of course, won't give it, mostly because you are lying; if you do, it will be either an NPC, who can say nothing on your behalf or retort, or it will be a PC, who will be the liar. Nice and simple there.

I'm sorry about this Lucky, but I don't appreciate being called a liar. I don't mind if they call the Prussian Union a liar and then stipulate its just IC, but I refuse to be accused of doing something I know I did not do.

EDIT: I see Lucky has intervened. I would change the post, but I don't feel much like doing it at the moment. I do, however, apologize for calling you a liar D'Artagnan; you obviously misunderstood something that was said previously.

OOC: Fuchsia, this is only a game. This is not RL. I don't believe you are a liar in real life. You could have forgotten. Remember, you'd probably think the same thing.

Oh yeah, aren't GMs supposed to be neutral?

OOC: Well, it helps force nations into peace. And its not exactly isolation if I just transfer funds from belligerents to neutrals, claim its too risky, and then just transfer them back after peace breaks out.

...You... really... don't understand investing, do you? Or neutrality.

*sigh*

Plus, it would be fun to screw around with world economics.

:wallbash:

I believe I see the death of the human race in you. :p

I am being lied to.

BY YOU.

OOC: The fact is, the above post shows that you were referring to me, not to the Prussian Union. I would present even more evidence, but it seems you went back and modified your post to present yourself in a more favorable light.

I always take great care to make a differentiation between player and nation, mostly by using diplomacy for any official discussion. That is how people now when I am talking to their nation rather than to them. You, on the other hand, referred to me in the first person, as the above post shows; I take that as an insult.

All other things aside, I am more than willing to accept an apology. I always am, as things undoubtedly get distorted, misunderstood, etc. on all internet forums.

We thank you for your interest in the well being of the Russian Empire however proposal number 5 and the Romanian section of 9 are not needed

Many apologies, I shall behead my official scribe for this error. Will Russia gladly sign the treaty now?

Yes we thank you and will sign the treaty

While we are still friends, we are insulted by your proposal of the peace treaty. Hopefully you can understand that we cannot give up Prussian land, nor will we without fighting for every inch; and every inch will be scorched, just as the land in Russia has been, and you will gain no benefit from it.

Regardless, here is our reply to your proposed treaty:

1) We must ask that a peace is signed, or at least offered, with Japan at the same time, no matter how harsh. Otherwise we must decline your offer from the beginning.

2) 1, 5, 6 and 9 are all acceptable.

3) We are willing to cede one, or perhaps two, of the Baltic states to Russia, and a small portion of Poland if absolutely necessary. No more territory than this will be given without a long and costly fight for both sides; we hope you will see the wisdom in allowing us to keep our territory, as it will cause no harm to you or your allies, and great harm to take them with little benefit. We will certainly not be ceding territory to Denmark no matter what the situation, as they have no claim to any territory within the Prussian Union.

OOC: Apology accepted, D'Artagnan. Makes things so much easier when people don't dislike each other. :)

France has no reason to attack Prussia. The only reason France attacked last turn was to prevent Prussia from getting too powerfull should they happen to beat the Russians. Little did we know that the US and UK would both enter as well. Had we known this we would have stayed out of the war.

France respects Prussia, which is why France demanded nothing from them.

I cannot speak for the Russians but I am sure they will not either.

As mod of this NES I am promoting GameNES 2. Second game in my series, modded by Frozen in Ice. :p

Yes, much easier.

Then we won't have to filter through the Z0MG! SCROO Y00! posts.

I entered because of the information.

Oh yeah, is 2 acceptable?

Someone throw out 7. I made the peace treaty, and Captain and I have spent all of our snow day talking about it.

We are greived that you do not accept what we thought were good terms. Unfortunatly France will not alter the treaty unless another ally offers a different one or asks us to change it.

If France respects Prussia so much, they would have let someone else offer this treaty rather than France, as the treaty itself is insulting. Besides, France's reasons for joining this war apply equally to Russia; if Russia were to become too powerful, they would be an even greater threat to France than Prussia, as their available manpower and resources are infinitely greater. This treaty will grant Russia power that, I am sure, France does not wish to give to another nation without first attempting intervention, as they have done with Prussia

If Russia continues in its unreasonable requests for territory from the Prussian Union, we ask that France reconsider the separate peace that we previously offered.

To: The Empire of Russia
From: The Prussian Union

The Prussian Union does not take kindly to insults such as your proposed treaty. It is nothing more than an attempt to push yourself into territory over which you no longer have a claim. If you had moved through this territory in the process of the war, we may have considered it fair; as it stands, Russia's demand of territory from the Prussian Union when they have yet to set foot upon Prussian soil is completely and utterly absurd.

We may be willing to grant you Latvia, but this is all you will get from the Prussian Union without a long and unfortunate conflict. In this peace, you will get an unmolested Latvia, prevent further damage to your economy, and gain reparations from the Prussian Union as a method of official apology; if you refuse a peace in which the only territory we cede in Europe is Latvia, you will gain nothing but burned and scarred land with no people or industries, your economy will be further damaged, lives will be needlessly lost, and Russia risks continued advancement by Japan, who has succeeded marvelously where we have failed.

To show our formal response, here is Prussia's proposed treaty after viewing your own:

Proposed Treaty

1. All fighting will cease between the Prussian Union and the Empire of Russia, as well as all their allies, including Japan.

2. A separate and reasonably fair peace offer must be extended to Japan by the Empire of Russia and all of its allies.

3. Prussia will cede German West Africa and German Southwest Africa to USA.

4. Prussia will cede German East Africa to the UK.

5. Prussia will cede the Estonia to Russia.

6. Finland will cease to exist as an independent nation and will be annexed by Russia, giving a bit of the north to Sweden.

7. Prussia will have a limit of 20 infantry, 10 cavalry, and 5 artillery, 1 goliath, 5 battleships, 20 light vessels, 10 transports, 20 escorts, and 5 submarines

8. Prussia will pay war reparations to Russia of 10 IC.

This is our absolute and final offer when it comes to territory. Reparations and military restrictions, however, are still up for discussion.
