Not true. One of the Morgothians was SW, and it was totally possible, if unlikely, for the Jedi/Vengeance to win but not the Town.

Morgothians had to eliminate everyone else. Though it was technically possible for the Town to be destroyed (and thus defeated) and the Empire or Jedi still be victorious.

That was always my impression.

Like I said, the thing that makes the most sense is that the Morgothians are Mafia, the Empire, Jedi, and Vengeance are Neutral, and the Town is, well, Town.
