It is ridiculous how far from history this game can get. For instance, most people know Mahatma Gandhi as a Hindu, but secular, pacifist who worked tirelessly for the cause of world peace and non-violent resistance.

In the epic I played, as Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi was a ruthless Christian warlord who knew no limit to his debauchery and feast on the blood of pagans and non-believers. Concealed behind those thick milquetoast glasses are fiery eyes that define the cruelty of the Mahatma, or "bitter soul" as he is known by all the refugees of the barbarian cities he has razed.

The following are a list of atrocities committed by war criminal Mahatma Gandhi:

- He sent 6 Christian missionaries on a trail of tears journey all the way to pagan China, at the very bottom of the huge-sized map through a vast and dangerous jungle, without protection, counting cynically on "God" protecting them on their fateful pilgramage. After a spirited chase, they were all eaten alive by panthers and never made it even remotely close to their destination.

- He, for no apparent reason, offered 500 gold to Persia to re-instate slavery. He accepted the offer.

- He purposely went out of his way to attack and kill the enemies Homer.

- He murdered thousands of his own people to rush development on his Christian missionaries.

- He declared war on all nations that were not Christian in a moment of insanity.

With his empire under Buddhist-Islamic control, Mahatma Gandhi escaped and is now on the lamb, wanted on several international charges, ranging from conspiracy to commit murder to massive genocide.

Note: this game is awesome. Buy it if you haven't.

Holy CoW!!! did you pay on random personalities maybe?

 I HAVE to get this game - Ghandi with a (severe) personality disorder, what next, Ghengis Khan the gentle, kind pacifist? :p

Moved to Stories and Tales. :)

Sounds like an interesting story if you expand on it.

Great account, I don't have Civ IV yet but I remember a war in Civ III against a warmongering fascist Gandhi. I got confused here, though:
- He, for no apparent reason, offered 500 gold to Persia to re-instate slavery. He accepted the offer.

Do you mean that Persia accepted the offer?

- He purposely went out of his way to attack and kill the enemies Homer.

Did he kill his enemies or their Homer? Or both? :crazyeye:

Haha I like how you wrote that. Nice! ^^

Unless his crimes includes strange and cruel choices for domestic animals to travel on, there is no "b" in "on the lam". :p Otherwise, a great story :goodjob:

HAHAHAHA, very nice story, i hope you will write more in the future!

Arise, dead story, arise from the bowls of Civ4 story hell that you fell into.

Sorry, I just felt the need to do that.

No story can slumber peacefully from the necromancer. None.
