The AI seems to be pulling some interesting moves when it comes to city placement. They're placing it better AND strategically. I saw Spain go out of its way to place a city on another island (me being between Spain and this continent) just to get a horse resource but they're handling the city pretty well. As a matter of fact, city placement is top notch as far as I can tell.

It seems like the AI transports units pretty well now as well. I'm seeing a constant ferrying of troops between Madrid and the colony. The AI handles xUPT and units being forced out of cities so well I'm surprised. For instance, Khmer is a very small city-state at war with nearly every major power that I know of but because Khmer is sending units out to the countryside, no one is getting to Khmer's doorstep.

I even don't want to get involved. Barbarians can't even lay a finger as all barbarians on that continent are coming from tundra from the south and are being damaged as they go by terrain damage.
 
I have a question about ROM292 and AND 174.
Zapparra turned off the rev.component because of crashes.
Could you or I play your latest version with revolutions on ?

  • Fixes bug in Automated Units that wrongly allowed them to get onto transports
  • Fixes Limited Religion and Choose Religion options (I Hope)
  • Fixes bug where workers can not burn Jungles and Forests
  • Fixes Border Patrolling with Sea Units Lag
  • Fixed Parade Ground Prerequsites
  • Fixed Error in Calculating PrereqOrBuilding construction Prerequsites.

I see no fix for overwhelming barbarians that hurt AIs here...?
 
Play Emperor with Aztec. AI is stronger and gang up against me.
Opportunity fire make a capital city very hard to capture.

America 20000+%!!! Unbelievable.

I install AND 1.74, patch A and then patch B consecutively. Not sure if wrong order.

Investment bank has no graphics - just a red circle.
 
One of my friends who is trying to launch this game has it suddenly hang for quite a long time, and then recieves this error midway through the attempt to launch it.

She uses Steam, and has reinstalled the game from the ground up - and she doesn't have this issue with other mods (like Fall Further, pora-exemplar.) Any ideas? I know the error isn't that helpful directly, but if there's any information to pull from logs, etc, let me know?
 
Turn on XML Logging in the A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines (It's 4th from the bottom-ish), and have her upload here entire log folder here and I'll take a look.

Okay; I know WHY it is crashing, but I am unsure how to fix it without having an identical setup so I can reproduce it.

Basically, the game is failing to find the modules, which means none of my Required XML files are loading, which causes the crash. As for why the game can't find the modules... I'd need a lot more details.

What a great new version of AND! Afforess, you deserve high praise for your devotion.

I've enjoyed 1.74 patch b for 2 days, but found that guilds from another continent could expand to my city even though there was no trade route. Moreover both I and civs from another continent didn't research astronomy yet.

Is it inteded or a bug? It seems very weird.
