Making new Select/Order Sounds

There's also the case of the Byzantines and the Greeks, and the Germans and Holy Romans (which I use for the Austrians in my mod as I have a case of the omnipresent HRE aversion).

And I do speak Spanish, so I can tell the difference... as can 321,999,999-399,999,999 other people.

Can you tell the difference between the Byzantine sounds and the Greek ones? Unless you speak greek I dont think you can. The only language that I can see seeded is some polynesian one. Besides, the languages are just to make the units seem alive, not to be a representation of the civ.

What about Vietnamese?

They can use the Khemer sounds. They are each from SE Asia. In a mod I made, I really didnt care that my Slavs and Bulgars werent speaking their native language, I had them speaking Russian. Both languages are SLavic based and unless you speak russian, it sounds just fine.

Come on... Vietnamese is a tonal language and Khmer isn't, for one.

That just doesn't cut it for me. I want my units to not only to sound authentic, but also to sound unique.

It all comes down to prefrence. I really dont care what language my units are speaking.

I speak Spanish (not as my native toungue though) and even I can tell the difference between, say, Mexican and Peruvian Spanish. And the Spanish they speak in Spain is very different. So I think its just as plausible that you have a different one, ala English and American order/select sounds.
