my game has gotten a little crashy in Modern age, but i'm not seeing anything consistent like that. also, most of my crashes have happened when i was impatient and got clicky while the game was still busy resolving something else. nothing consistent enough to troubleshoot (and tbh there's not much i can do if the game engine crashes). so if it's crashing consistently with non-standard settings, i think the only solution is to dial back the non-standard stuff.

Makes sense. Also, "getting clicky while the game is busy" is a useful observation. I sometimes do that. I'm not finding it so unstable as to abandon my extreme zoom or any of my mods, but I use the unit locator on the minimap as little as possible.

note that lenses only remember changes you make in the Lenses panel (not hotkeys)

hey folks, i recently added a new feature to Map Trix 3.9.0, a decoration layer for Wonders (including natural wonders). i also created a new mod, Friends and Rivals, that adds information to the list of city-states and independents.

however, i won't be uploading those here or making further updates to my mods here on CFC. the site owner is using our mod resource pages to advertise a commercial AI tool that he created. despite multiple complaints about this, he's kept the ad up and later added a second one. he's defended his actions in the announcement thread, but i don't like the way he treats other creators and our work, and i don't like the way he's treated forum members who criticized him.

please look for my new work on Steam Workshop. i don't currently plan to delete anything here, but i'm cutting back my presence. please contact me via Steam or Discord if you need support. i'm active on the official Firaxis Discord server.
