Peach traversed the countryside, wondering when she would arrive at Bowser's Castle. For someone who had been kidnapped multiple times and taken to the same place, Peach could not find the correct direction. Perhaps she should not have left Toadsworth, but it was too late now.
Peach sat down and cried. Why did this have to happen? Mario was gone. Who would face Bowser now?
Who would protect the Kingdom?
As various feelings and worries washed over her, she heard footsteps behind her.
"Hello, Princess Toadstool."
That was the last voice she expected to hear. It had been so long. Why now...?

Meanwhile, back at the Castle, a serious issue had developed. The sun had risen on Bowser's Castle, and a loud wailing came from one of the rooms.
"WHY? WHY?"
Bowser's servants ran over to the room, where they found a tragic sight. Someone had been squashed!
Dolbster has been killed!
