Mass Effect [Game Thread - Concluded]

If we're looking for information, then we should get it from someone who is reliable like Barla Von. I support visiting Feros as it sounds like that place could be interesting with all its ancient alien ruins. Jarrema's dismissive response to Askthepizzaguy's accusation seems like a conscience attempt to play it cool under pressure, which seems slightly scummy to me.

Easy wagon on me, Frozen in Ice?
Pizza just said I should speak, and I did it; there was no substantial accusation

Double A talked at night, died. Visorslash talked at night, died. Coincidence? I think not! We're probably searching for a NOTW player that is used to a undisturbed nights sleep. I think it's Sprig.

Barla von. To continue on the "not necessarily good" path, proposed by Pizza.

Lastly, can someone describe the planets?
Visorslash is awesome, as am I. It's easy to confuse the two, as I explain below.
 you know Takhisis would have been first on my hit list.

There is nothing stopping the dead for doing analysis. With no private communication... I think Vis is a threat dead or alive.
So. You want people to do analysis. Why should people not vote at night, then? You appear to have no reason for voting me.
Remember there is a wiki, if you want to look up planets or characters.
Reading the manual is for wimps.
I did have Takhisis's avatar as my own for some period of time, so he does have a point.
Aha, that explains it. I myself couldn't figure out why I did it.
My awesomeness spills over. What can I say? I am naturally a cool cat. The only way Visorslash could've been cooler was by copying me. Which he did.
It is also my profile picture I believe.

Well yes, but it takes all the fun out being confirmed innocent.
Nah, you still can't trust anyone.
Guess you shouldn't have talked at night then... you know how that gets me going!
This is not a NotW game.
Barla Von seems like the most useful choice for us at the moment, as does Feros.
And Takhisis: [schwarzenegger]I have some questions, and I want them answered immediately![/schwarzenegger]
What are thine questions, O Dimwitted One?
Oh hey it's in a spoiler in the like fifth post. No wonder I didn't find it.
You're not a manual-reading wimp. I salute you!

OMGUS? really?

Though for now, in terms of non-insightfulness, CivGeneral takes the cake, having posted absolutely nothing in thread so far.

I still think e350tb has some explaining to do (for reasons already stated), though it would be nice to lynch LurkGeneral also.

I'd Abstain

Which is enough for me, vote:CivGeneral. Participate or die!

Agreed. At least say more than two words, CivGeneral.

Sway me with your argumentation as to why that is so and I shall change my opinion on this delicate matter.

After the bacon beacon incident sent TaliZorah to the sickbay, Yaropolk finally got himself the full row of seats that his manly frame deserved. Yaropolk settled in, withdrew a handful of chocolate covered pretzels from his bag to keep up his energy and proceeded to study his new campmates. Surprisingly most of them weren't as big as him, and there were even a few ladies in the mix.

Yaropolk: Excellent, I am bigger and stronger than most of these twerps. In fact I'm the strongest person I know. These ladies will obviously be all over me once I get a chance to show my manly strength!

Yaropolk had about a quarter of an hour to kill between finishing his third post-lunch snack and the start of his first pre-dinner snack. He heaved and hoed and managed to free himself from the confines of the oppressive seats in order to make his rounds with the ladies. One row from him sat a pretty brunette who was staring at something on the wall. Yaropolk extended his chocolate covered hand.

Yaropolk: Hello gorgeous, what's your name?

CivGeneral: ...

Yaropolk: What's the matter? Are you dumb struck by me? I know it happens but don't worry I don't bite ... unless you want me to.

A pervy smile stretched across Yaropolk's face.

CivGeneral: ...

Yaropolk pushed up a little too close for comfort into the girl's personal space, but she continued staring at the wall without giving him the time of day. Yaropolk stared down at the girl's name tag embroided on her uniform. His eyes paused way too long on her chest and a creepy string of drool rolled out of the corner of his mouth and down his chin. CivGeneral looked Yaropolk up and down without blinking and said only two words.

CivGeneral: I abstain.

Yaropolk: Don't you ignore me you shallow anorexic slut. I've seen how you look at me. You can't look past my heavy exterior to see my inner kindness. I'm way better than any of these guys here. I'll show you! Vote: CivGeneral

With his pride hurt Yaropolk stumbled off towards the mess hall to see what's for dinner. However, half way down the corridor he got winded and stopped to catch his breath. A murmur of discontent arose behind him.

AskThePizzaGuy: What's the hold up? Move it wide load! We can't get past. Tell him Jarrema.

Jarrema: What should I tell him?

Frozen In Ice: I knew it, I knew it! He won't tell him! He's hiding something.

Yaropolk: Hold on ... <heave> I need to <heave> ... sit down and gather my strength. You guys can wait.

Yaropolk ignored the inconsiderate crowd building up behind him and looked at scenes from the three planets rotating on the display in front of him. Two were frozen abandoned deserts, but the third was full of lights and crowds. It looked like the type of place where a fellow could get an all you can eat curry buffet at 3 o'clock at night.

Yaropolk: We should definitely visit Therum. It sounds great!

On the next set of monitors were two figures. A skinny balding middle aged man slumped over a bar, and a plump little man mole something that looked like it would know where to get a good kebab on short notice.

Yaropolk: That Barla Von feller looks like he knows how to have a good time.

First vote on bandwagon ==> Mafia.

FishFinger of Suspicion: Yaropolk

Someone attacked me last night. I'm hurt, but still alive.

As much as I think it may earnestly be said, this is actually a garbage statement. Besides, I don't even know if Visorslash and Double A were just playing a game of pin the tail on the donkey but used a damned grenade......

Or besides, we don't even know of any third party mercenaries/whatever we got running along here. Heck we don't even know who the enemy is, you know the saying "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Well frack those people who say that, if it ain't someone friendly to Commander Shephard then it certainly ain't someone friendly to me.

How do we know you aren't some bad guy shot by another bad guy. Or some neutral guy shot by a good guy. Or some bad guy shot by some neutral guy!

Sway me with your argumentation as to why that is so and I shall change my opinion on this delicate matter.

frackin brown noser.

I'd bet you'd be the first to line up if Shepard asked someone to slice some frackin pepperoni. Never did understand why the mess hall is always full of that though....

anyways, I need to read the wiki but Frozen in Ice that was super weak. Take some shield damage.

Can we have a tally please?

Barla Von is more likely to have the information needed, and he's much more likely to be a reliable source.

Therum. Gotta sacrifice more people to Prothean ruins to learn more about them.

vote: Civgeneral. One post, 2 words, no stance on anyone. Dead weight must be discarded.

Barla Von, because volus are cool.

I personally think Therum is the best of three options for planets.

While Frozen In Ice's reason seems very weak, it is probably best to remove useless players first. So, CivGeneral.

Suggestion to all:

Please reduce the *number* of votes on CivGeneral by 2.

The reason for this is related to the fact that the lynch is damage-based and the amount of damage is based on the number of votes against a candidate.

Special Rules: Whoever gets the most lynch votes will take 50 damage per vote, second-place will take 10 damage per vote, and third-place will take 5 damage per vote. This makes it theoretically possible to kill more than one person in one lynch, or to fail to kill anyone in a lynch, or to kill the second-place candidate but not first-place, and so on.

I've no objection to CivGeneral being the lead candidate, but 250+ damage is not necessary so early based on such reasons for the vote.

Perhaps a warning shot would be sufficient.
