Actually... the update is going in now. The next person who takes their turn will need to update their MP SVN mod folder from this next SVN update. Then take your turn and proceed to the next.

For ONLY the next player, whether it asks to or not, once you've loaded, recalculate (CTRL-SHIFT-T) before proceeding with your turn. No other player should need to as this recalculates the game for all players.

I suppose. But it's too late for me. I would need to take the turn with the newer fileset since mine's already updated. But we can at least wait til then if the turn is ONLY for this game.

I'm done with my turn.

I noticed that my SVN download folder only updated with the save files and turn loggers, but not any of the other mod files. The last modified date on the main mod files was 8/2/15. Will the SVN repository be updated?

My update is in progress. I always do a full SVN update on both games. So once it's finished updating I can take my turn with the old set before I place the New set in my C2C MP mod folder. That way you T-brd can do the Re-Calc for this game.

Edit: T-brd's turn to Start New version and do Re-Calc.

Praetyre it's your turn. Good luck with the update and let us know if you need any further guidance on how to get the new fileset updated properly.

Done. For some odd reason, the announcements bar says the Stone Spearman I just built is a Big McDowell's Executive. It shows up properly in the actual game interface, though.

Also, this is more trivial, but apparently a special building called "Animal Myth Requirement" has been autobuilt in my city. I've looked up Civilopedia, and I cannot find this building. What exactly is it, and what does it do?

So Thunderbrd, I've been playtesting this new version and it seems that one mechanic has drastically changed judging from my playtests on the previous version and those on this one.

But I believe no problem can happen if the barb plays after me. Because if they play before me they are going to cause some serious issues I wasn't expecting on the last turn, which will be pretty serious and unfair.

The barbs don't play in a differing order to what they always have. Is that what you're wondering?

The only thing close to this in terms of changes is the timing point at which autosaves are made but that doesn't count saves for this game. It also doesn't change when the barbs go. They are and have always been (since 50 civs was enabled anyhow) player 50.

Animal Myth requirement is a harmless background prereq fulfilling building that autobuilds and has no pedia entry. Something DH needed to do for some animal stuff.

I don't mean their order, but the mechanics behind their actions. One of them has changed, and if the barb plays before me I'm in serious danger for not knowing this would happen when I played my last turn.

But if the barb plays after me, no harm will be done.

Barb's are player id 50. They play last each turn.

I didn't realize I was supposed to do my turn last time I came here to answer.

Well I went into the game but it says it's the turn of the British.

About the Barb guys, I know they are the last to play, I'm not talking about this. I just didn't want to say exactly what's about to happen to me because I don't want to spoil my strategy (I prefer this way, but if it's inevitable I'll have to tell you guys).

What's about to happen to me can be avoided only if I play my next turn before the barb plays his since the moment that the version has changed. If after recalcing the game, my turn comes before the barb's turn, then it's ok, I'll be able to save my skin, if not I'll lose some serious stuff.

The order will be unchanged from before (recalc cannot impact the ordering). Obviously that means there is always one opportunity for the barbs to play between your previous turn and the current one (or the current and next). Assuming the upgrade was done by the first person in the turn (as I believe it was) then the barbs will have run their turn on the OLD code and you will be playing on the new system before they will.
