Not going Worker / WB first is a big fail, unless you go and steal Workers with the Warrior, but even then, you're better of most often, especially when you don't play Marathon, where units cost less and where you got more time to find an enemy Worker you can steal.
Protecting the capital is unnecessary in the first xy turns (until Barbs pop pop up or even later when playing without barbs) .
You seem to totally not be aware of how important the starting phase of a game is. You wasted turns on exploration, that could have been spent on Worker production. Then you build a Warrior and delay the Worker even more. You got very strong tiles, every turn you delay the Worker, you're losing a turn on working those tiles earlier. This snowballs so greatly over the course of the round, that it can be safely said that you screwed up majorly already. Better fix it now or it'll only get worse.
