Just a idle thought, don't you think any arabian (or other person in a hot climate) would cover his helmet with a turban? and not run around like the second guy, with a metal helmet in the sun like that?

Well isn't it exactly like that? The turban covers the helmet, partially, with the top poking through. All the pictures I saw, including the one I posted form DBA, or paintings of Saladin, look like that, but maybe the helmet sticks out too much? Now it sticks less, if it's still not it, I'd have to see a visual representation of the idea

Didn't even start working on that coif on Nevsky, but I'll eventually release them all (just released the units), Jogaila first since it's the only one that I managed to render so far.

Let me start off by saying once again that I'm really impressed with your leaderheads. The quality is awesome.

Since I've first seen them, something has been bothering me about the Erik leaderhead: the forehead and helmet seem to blend into each other. I would recommend altering the texture on Erik's face to create a shadow from the helmet. I think that would help to visually distinguish the head from the helmet. For some reason, Poser just doesn't do that very well.

Alternatively, you could create a shadow on the bottom edge of the helmet. The other two leaderheads with headpieces have this effect, and it helps to separate the helmet and face. But, I perfer the shadow on the face too.

Anyway, I just wanted to make that little suggestion. The leaderheads look great regardless.

Yes P-51D but I'm using Frederick Barbarossa LH by Shiro (I think).

Just so you know, I've read your comments utah, thanks. I may try to fix that but I'm less and less sure if I want to make that LH at all - maybe I'll be able to make a non-viking one after all.

On another note, I'll post Nevsky soon. Unfortunately the new coif didn't fit, but I tried to make the old one a bit wider so that his chin isn't too wimpy

If I may ask, what hair and beard did you use for the Erik LH Preview on page 1? The beard looks kind of like the M3 Fantasy Beard but the hair doesn't. I like the look of that hair, but the hair that goes with the Fantasy Beard is too puffy and I can't figure out any dials to do anything really to straighten it downward, like the hair you have.

Yes, it's the (m2) Fantasy Beard with the hair part hidden, and replaced with hair prop from Celtic warrior.

I'm not happy with this either, I wanted a medieval/renaissance king instead but I can't find any fitting apparel.

What ??? I just discovered this thread (sorry I'm late) and I can't believe what I read !!! Erik is just great, only needs very few improvements... about Lorenzo, if I remember correctly the book "Lorenzacio", he's supposed to be a bit crazy, and that's what he sure looked like, painters from that time always softened their leaders real appearance...
