Thanks for all the comments I see that Lorenzo is the most controversial. Yes he was meant to be weird and scary. One reason was to give him more peculiarity (if that's a word), and another was that, if you look at his and other Medici's pictures, they all looked like genetically flawed and madmen. Here's another attempt, more "defined" nose and a bit smaller eyes:

Also, the leaderheads are single-era, sorry I don't have time nor resources and I'd rather make a couple more medieval/renaissance ones when I can.

I like it a lot. It's good as it is now. Temujin looks like a freak too anyway.

These look great! Nevsky looks like The Edge from U2, . I would make Lorenzo's nose a little bit smaller, to look more like the portrait.

maybe you can bring his eyes closer together it still looks a little weird nose looks way better though

On the protrait, the distance between the nose and the upper lip, the moustache area is bigger than in your LH, and the nose is a tad bit smaller. Movih his eyes wee bit closer isn`t a bad idea either

But if you don`t feel like editing it anymore, its much better now than before

PS, if you don`t plan to make those units I mentioned, please don`t delete the files anyway. Or, seen as how almost every artist around here is bound to have a fatal computer crash atleast once, perhaps you could send them to me?

I'll be doing some infantry later. The poser files contain non-free meshes and cannot be redistributed, except for what is already available on CFC (PDM stuff).

Personally I'd say that Lorenzo's eyes were about the right size originally - they should just be a little closer together. He'd still look a bit odd, but not quite so alarmingly odd!

Whatever you do, though, this is a really great LH. They're all top quality.

i thought it was just the nose that looked a little hazey. i thought it needed some
sharpening....but hey, i just make tech icons, what do i know?

I'm sorry I missed this thread until now. The LHs are incredible. Each one has great personality, is very detailed, and exceptionally beautiful (yes, even Lorenzo ). I can't wait for these to be released!

Well, Lorenzo (the second version) is my favourite. There is something peculiar about him and the style is completely new, thus making him unique.

Lorenzo is definitely not the handsomest, but truly the "awe-inspiringest" LH you've preseneted in here. Can't wait for the finished products.
