@El Justo: I'm honestly not a huge fan of labs. Everywhere you look you see one. As for German Shepherds, my dad had one as a kid, my uncle not too long ago. But now they're more on Malamutes. Personally I wouldn't mind having one, but the downside to leeching off your parents health insurance in college is that you have to live at their house.

Maybe later I'll get one. My mom also has a thing for Tiny Toy Poodles, and they usually end up becoming fiercely loyal to me (as I'm generally the nicest to them). I also like them because you don't see them that often, around here at least.

You also seemed like more of a dog person to me El J.
i missed this one. sorry :crazyeye:

i was never much of a dog person until i met my wife and she had the most lovely pooch in the entire world. and over time, i really grew fond of her - both my wife and the dog that is :D anyhow, yes, there are piles and piles of labs out there. however, they are imo the perfect dog b/c of their disposition (as gentle as a flower), their loyalty, their attractiveness, and their sportiness (took her fishing, boating, swimming etc).

i've had cats all my life. very different from dogs but still have appeal :) i mean, the personalities of cats are imo funny as hell, especially the one we've got now...clumsy thing that he is. i should take video of the little striped fellow b/c it's some pretty funny stuff :)

I have a Border Collie/Labrador mongrel which we got a pup from a farm. He looks like a giant badger. :D I don't have any pictures, but he's a great dog, if a little hyper.

Here's a quick Corsair sketch. It's a bit rough.

There hasn't been a person my poodle hasn't liked, I already stated their fierce loyalty, attractiveness tends to vary from person to person, and no need to crossbreed to stop shedding (poodles don't shed).

Standard poodles fit into the sporting category. They were in fact used as bird dogs, the strange haircut was intended for just that purpose.

The hair around the chest and head to keep the impotant organs warm, the puffs around the "wrists" to keep the joints warm, and the tail puff to be able to see where the dog is when it dives under the water.

But to each his own.

The fat short haired wiener dog is my father's.

The mid-haired wiener dog laying on his side is mine.

My father's dog is on the left (blonde short-haired).

My dog is on the right (brown medium-haired).

Meet Harris, my new cat. I adopted him yesterday from the Humane Society. He will not be getting declawed because the stupid yahoos made me sign a contract stipulating that I would never do that.

He looks awesome. Today is our 5 month anniversary of our adoption from the RSPCA (USA has SPCA right?).

You sure you don't want this one?

Think of how cute they would look together. :deal:

Thanks, but I don't want to become known as the crazy cat guy of Butler. :D Two is my limit.

Cat comes with free delivery! Cat is small, only really counts as 49% of a cat. If you round down 2.49 you still have only two cats!

LOOK HOW CUTE. Nice whiskers. Cat has had shots! Free delivery! Good deal!

Thats the one the owner abandoned? I'd adopt it if I lived nearby. Pudlums seems to be younger clone of Tag or SPCA adoption kitty.
