[MOD] Fall from Heaven

kael... dark dwarves and dark elves have the same startin techs... just thought u should no that... and u should make paganism a major religion, just make it show up with subdue animal for whoever gets it first... or sumtin like that...
 
true... true... but atleast for now... this game could get little better... just some minor tweaks here and there... thats all that im pointing out... what could be tweaked...

Thats cool, I want 1.0 to be as good as possible so I don't mind minor tweaks (though i wont be adding religions to 1.0 at this point). Especially before I release the patch c tomorrow. So dont hesitate in posting suggestions.
 
First thing, I downoladed this yesterday after the new patch and I have just to say I'm totally impressed by this MOD I probably like it even more than the original Civ4, this mod alone double the worth of the game, if not more,
You probably even saved me the trouble to go buying Master of Magic 2 when (if?) ever came out. :)

Also, I can't see some of the civilization flags, the goblins, for example.

Kael i dont know if this is a bug but one of the leaders said in diplamacy when i opened it up: "Now i have a no unit hoho-ho!" :rotfl:

That No Unit thing is funny....
Kael, can you use SDK to improve Guerilla and Woodsman, so that they give offensive combat bounus as well as defensive? (I know that you said that, ATM, they would give bonus if you attack FROM the forest). That would be really GOOD. That is phase 2 suggestion, unless it is very easy to do. I can already see FotL planting lots of forests around their cities and killing any single unit which enters them. Or Runes units which kill anyone on mountains.

They look to be showing up okay to me, could you attach a screenshot of what you are seeing.

Yeap, but like you say that would have to wait until pahse 2.

Nevermind, I'm very happy to hear that you can (and will) do that!

Orc's diplo music is HILLARIOUS!!! (For that leader whose name starts with "S") It starts *just like* serbian folk-music crap. Me and my friends were cracking out!!! Don't remove it at any cost, even though it ist too "orcish". I hope that it will be in phase 2...
 
I do not if this is a bug or a feature of FFH100, when enemy troops destroyed a horse pasture, I was not able to build any mounted unit even if I have another horse pasture in my civilization limits but out of any city limits.

I like the feature that privateers atacking galeons fight against the top transported unit, but since it is transported, I think it has not to get the bonus by defending a tile.
 
Czar, were you trading a horse to another civ? that would prevent your building any horse units.

2 Suggestions-- When making AI for phase 2, make them move their transports 4 spaces away from land--I've meteor-swarmed them twice now. :D
Also, It's kind of a bummer when Hero units become obsolete--could a late game tech unlock an unbuildable, upgradeable unit for rosiar, etc.? It'd be a reward for keeping them around. Maybe same graphic, but 2-3 points more strength.

We are planning a quest for each hero, if that quest is completed you unlock an upgraded version of that hero.
 
Well, There are some things you need to improve. The Music that i suppose to hear, don't play at all. Instead it plays Original Music from Civ 4, Fix this for me. also you still need to work on unit obsulation, my warrior is still in my menu after i research bronze smithing, it suppose to be replace with the axewarrior. I need a good organized menu so i won't have much trouble with it.

Loving 1.00, those Drown really come in their own on an archipelago map. Anyway I found a similar problem with TXT_KEY after I researched Survival. I can't recall what followed after TXT_KEY, sorry.
 
Kael i have one question/comment.

How can i get ashen viel into a city that has the order? It seems it would make better sense that it should eliminate the order or vice verca if i was trying to get the order into an ashen veil city.

And i dont have a problem with not letting ashen viel ever get into the order holy city but can you make it so in phase two that they just overwrite eachother instead of just not letting it spread at all?

Because i hate it when the order spreads to my cities when i want them to be ashen viel. I dont think it would be a problem if ashen viel is allowed to overwrite as long as you are using a missionary (which i am).

Please take that into considerating and keep up the good work! :)
