Hello Dacubz,

Any chance you will have an update soon? I like playing this mod a lot. If the known bugs are fixed it will even greater.

A few things for a future update perhaps:

1) There is no diference between unique units and the default units. You can build the default units infinte. Maybe if you limit the default units it becomes more tempting to build unique units.

2) If you get to the year 1925 the whole world is covered with rails or highways. Maybe you can increase the cost of building routes. And also limit the worker staff to like 10 so it becomes moere important to capure workers. Also Russia/Soviet Union is too easy to conquer with all the routes present, even in the first years.

3) Increase the number of defensive measures like trenches, mines, bunkers.

4) England is way too strong. The cities in India and Africa are way too developed. Maybe something like a goods factory like the road to war?

5) Subs cannot be spotted. I like the idea though, but maybe high end units can be able to spot older subs.

sometimes 'the real life is more important ' , sometimes ...;)

while it is fair to say that the cities of Africa and India do need some re-balancing its more the fact that most other civilizations are missing lots of buildings and units compared to UK. You see most scenarios come with little/no buildings/improvements and sometimes units too. I and dacubz don't like scenarios like that so we have tried to put more into these scenarios but to add them all in takes ALONG time so neither are 100% complete,1920 a lot more so unfinished but as I am British and I always play as them I always make sure UK is done first.

life is always more important than modding :p but im sure he will re-appear at some point, its not the first time after all.

That explaines a lot. I agree on empty mods. But i still think UK colonies are way too strong.

We will wait for him. Thanx for replying aob. Now i know this mod isn't dead. That would be a shame for all the hard work you two put in this great mod.

I must admit I do not know if he is coming back or not and last time I saw him on the forum he was working on his new mod.

Dacubz did all the modding I just did a good bit of work with the scenarios and gave him info for units and ideas for the mod and things like that.

I wish i could work on the bug issues with the recources and civic change, but that's python or sdk stuff, i think. :confused:

I'm working on some changes, i had some ideas and changed xml files. (added 1 route :secondary road, longer tech research, added trenches, bunkers, captured workers , infantry pool for extralarge, large and medium countries etc. )
Maybe i can post it as an unofficial scenario when i finish it.
 
what are the butgs with resources and civic changes? If I ever get time away from college work and working on my yet unrevealed civ5 mod I could have a look at them? Yearning to do some python :D

Thanx for replying. If you can find some time and the problem i would really apreciate.
And probably others too.

the bugs i encountered are:

1) recources cannot be traded. they appear in the city screen, and you gain benefit from them, like fuel. but they appear as 0, zero.
2) civics cannot be changed. nothing happens.
3) subs cannot be seen, although xml file say they can. seeinvisbible.xml is the default BTS file. unitinfos say they can see eachother.

I solved the submarine issue. It was an xml change. binvisible tag in unitinfos was set to 1. Probably done on purpose bij dacubz. I like the idea but i'm thinking of creating different invisible tags for subs. Future units can see earlier submarine units. Like in 1943/1944 when the british finally had a solution to handle the german subs.
 
i m playing this mod very greatful :)

but how can occur this ? lol

j-10 is more stronger than f-22 ?

j-10 is same level with F-16.
