What is your opinion on Flavoured Help Texts unique for More Wonders mod?

  • I like them and I use them every game

Like you see, Autocracy-Scientific wonder is still out of place. Also we have no Scientific-Freedom wonder.
Menin Gate is moved to World Congress.
Any ideas how to move/swap/substitute them? You can also change idologies (I just took best fitting and suggested here). I tried to pick highest tier possible. The only tier 1 is "Military-Industrial Complex" and tier 2: "Arsenal of Democracy", "Nationalization" and "Total War".
Also we have 3 russian-Order wonders. Maybe chinese, north-korean or else?

So wait, are these locked by tenet or are they just associated thematically with the tenet? Because I don't think locking the wonder to the tenet is great thematically because it turns it into a win-harder button as opposed to something that everyone with the ideology has to compete for.

Right. I suggest keeping the requirements the way Infixo did, which was each wonder is similar to the idea of a T3 tenet, but you can build whichever one you want. Doesn't need to be perfect -- I think the way he had it was a decent level of association.

If Millau isn't going to be an ideology wonder, maybe its bonus should be changed -- right now, the bonus is very Domination Victory/Autocracy focused.

Maybe Cape Canaveral for the scientific Freedom wonder? It's another USA wonder, but it would fit Space Procurements like a glove.

Perhaps the Space Shuttles? Cape Canaveral's kind of just a place, but the shuttles are notable for being reusable. (In theory.)
 
v0.3.22.2 out on github. We are very close to v0.4 release. Only cosmetic changes, initial balancing, two icons and that's all.
Added Great Zimbabwe and finished Qalhat.

And prepare for bonus (this week?): Update for Wonder Planner mod. Because I have used it intensively recently, I noticed possible fields for upgrade and missing info.
 
If you want to use Github version you need to download stuff and compile it with ModBuddy (available on steam tools).
Just wondering how do I do the compiling part into a mod though...?
As I have download all the files from Github but I do not know where to go from there

Open ModBuddy and create new project with its name. Then copy all files into this project folder.

You must have only one .civ5proj file so delete one that was created during first step.

Then open project via ModBuddy and build modpack: "Build" --> "Build (name of the mod)".

If I messed something someone must correct me. I never did this, because all projects are created from scratch by me and I didn't add github one.

".git" and ".gitattributed" files are for "Github Desktop" app.

v0.4 officialy released! Fully playable wonders up to medieval era. As a bonus, fully compatible Wonder Planner v5 is released as well.

- now Wieliczka spawns 1 Salt in city range and Falun Mine 2x Copper (both instead of flat resource gain)
- new splashes for Krak, Michel and St. Basil (Kremlin unused)
- Great Zimbabwe got buff for ivory
- added missing icons
- last fixes and balance
 
IMO, The best part of this mod remains MainRulesForWonders.sql where we can enable/disable any of the new Wonders :thumbsup:
Would be even greater if we could enable/disable the changes you make on existing VP Wonders
I will think about that. The only changes to existing wonders are restriction and one small faith addon to statue of zeus. I try to leave their abilities as they are. It's VP thing to balance them out.

MainRulesForWonders is mechanic brought from original VPWE. I didn't add anything to that. Say thanks to @Infixo :)

There was small conversation on github about Great Zimbabwe and if it should be in this mod regarding the fact that Zimbabwe mod (for VP by @hokath) is already in repository. I like its theme (gold and expansion) and fact that it is african wonder, but wanted to hear your opinion guys.

If I crossed the line and made one or another wonder too op, give me feedback. They are reay to play, but if they are balanced? I tried...

I don't have time to try what you're doing but it seems very promising. I hope "More Wonders for VP" will be fully compatible with VPEE
As I said earlier to @Padre19: It probably will, but after finishing all wonders for base VP. For now it is enough work to do.

Also I have got huge plans for a very very long time to add a couple of new Natural Wonders. I found mods (links in the OP) which balance them and add new ones. Do you know if it is possible to do this in VP? Guys from CBP Github nor anyone on the forum didn't answer me to this unfortunately...
 
For balancing or changing the yields of the natural wonders, i think its plausible

But not so sure about adding more natural wonders as the one you linked require a 3D model and some editing in the Dll
 
That's why I aked about it, becuase this guy wanted it to be incorporated into CBP's dll.
Could you please still update the mod to make it work with the changes that were applied to the CP a while ago? Would be a shame if the mod cannot be used normally, since for the rest it's really great stuff... thanks!

As the mod development seems to be abandoned, can someone tell me the steps I need to perform in order to make this compatible with CP? I am trying to run it along with JFDLC, if that is of any importance. I have tried many things based on the hints above, but I always end up with a screwed up town screen and cannot open production menu etc. ...

I threw out Gripsholm from Renaissance because it is already in VPEE.
