More Wonders

I'm not a steam user

Any chance of uploading it to CFC downloads?

cheers

Really and you play ciV without steam, man you will get problems to play with mods i guess.

All of the post G&K Wonders are available on CFC, and all those prior to it are still available but need to be modified. I'm trying to decide whether to continue support for Vanilla or just over-write all of the Vanilla files with G&K ones - thoughts?

On a better note, I'm just releasing the G&K version of the Chinese New Year wonder pack on Steam Workshop, apparently a year to the day after it was released.

Paro Taktsang

Located on the side of a Bhutanese cliff, the Paro Taktsang monastery is a monastery built in the 17th century to honor the guru who is credited with the introduction of Buddhism to Bhutan, who is said to have meditated in a cave on the site in the 9th century. Legends abound about the origins of the location, one such foundation myth is the guru came to the area from Tibet on the back of a flying Tigress, hense the origin of the nickname "The Tiger's Nest". Ingame, Paro Taktsang provides +1 :c5faith: faith and +1 :c5culture: culture from Mountain tiles and a free monastery in the city, while it requires Theology and must be built in a city with a nearby mountain. Paro Taktsang can be downloaded from Steam Workshop Here or from the CivFanatics Download Database Here

If you used my code for this, that means the mountains need to be worked to get those yields, for which they are pretty low. Sorry if I was not clear about that.

Later this week I can have a look at adding those yield to the city for each mountain in the city's borders if you like. And at the hill buff while at it.

Buda Castle

Located on the bank of the Danube river in modern day Budapest, Buda Castle is a site formerly used by several different parties throughout its history, including as a palace and as a defensive castle. It has been destroyed several times since it was first constructed in the 15th century, most recently in the 1960's following significant damage during World War Two. It was also heavily damaged following the conquering of Buda by Christian forces, when an artillery shell struck part of the castle that was being used as a gunpowder store. Ingame, Buda Castle provides +2 of each yield in the :c5capital: Capital, while it must be built in a city next to a river and requires Architecture. Buda Castle can be downloaded from Steam Workshop Here or from the CivFanatics Download Database Here.

I agree, you guys should update and put all of sukritact wonders in the OP, the same way with Wat Phra Kaew
Burj Al Arab, Gateway Arch, Potala Palace, Abu Simbel... am I missing something?

EDIT: And yeah, the Blue Mosque and the Burj Khalifa from asioasioasio would be very nice too

Well, Blue Mosque doesn't need fix because it doesn't use "<culture>x</culture>" :P

Feel free to do so, I wasn't planning of updating that. I was planning on updating the Abu Simbel and Potala Palace however (with new art I mean)...

I really expect to have new wonders that works fully natural with the game. I mean, in all areas, xml files, 3D models, icons, splash screens, audio....

I wonder if its the wonder graphic loading. Does anyone know how to fpk art files? We may have to add them to DLC_01 in order for them to load.

do you really need the files to be in a .fpk container for DLC ?

have you tried to copy the <Files> block from a .modinfo file for example ?

Te Tii Marae

Happy Waitangi Day! To celebrate, here is the Te Tii Marae as a wonder. Te Tii Marae is a marae located near the town of Waitangi, in the Northland province of New Zealand. It was built to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitingi at a nearby cottage on February 6, 1840, and is the current site of ceremonies on Waitangi Day (February 6) commemorating the treaty attended by various dignitaries and is a hotspot on the day for political activism relating to the treaty and Maori-Pakeha relations. Ingame, Te Tii Marae provides +1 :c5happy: Happiness from Courthouses, and requires Military Science. Te Tii Marae can be downloaded either from Steam Workshop Here or from the CivFanatics Download Database Here

I don't see and files referenced in the DLC civ5pkg which is weird. maybe it loads them all even if they are in there. I'm still poking around.
