Sorry my spacebar was litterally stolen by my little sister......

Anyway, what i meant is that I personally like the idea of having an Unique Ability
that is actually Unique.

Agreed, Ethiophia (to some extent), Sweden, Austria and hoepfully Maya have really promising and exciting abilities that have more than just a bonus to certain aspect (speed/hammer/buildilng, gold plus etc).

Sweden and Austria especially...
Pull the Euro-centrism alarm!
seriously though, "Diplomatic Marriage" sounds powerful, and "Nobel Prize" could turn out to be quite fun as well.

Wow, Austria is leading the charge!

Ethiopia has the coolest leader, and is one of the best one-city challenge Civs, if not the best. Plus, really great if you just want to burn some enemy civ's cities and knock them down a couple pegs.

I don't understand when you would need so much defense though.
Doesn't seem like one of the more interesting ones.

Though I share your concerns than mere defensive bonuses might be a little underwhelming, I still find myself especially excited for Haile Sehlassie. I'm also curious what else they'll have - we know the UA and the UU, but there's still a piece of the puzzle remaining. I'm hoping it gives culture or faith bonuses. The idea of running a super-militaristic one-city empire, razing cities left and right and puppeting the capitals, then going for a culture victory.

I agree. Ethiopia is, as yet, unimpressive. I hope their final U* makes up for it.

I love the civ Ethiopia itself (i.e. in real life) but not the way it seems to be going in Gods and Kings.
That's right, there is one component left.

It was difficult decision, but I ended up voting for the Netherlands. Though I'm a bit disappointed in what the civilization has to offer. I find it a bit too easy, picking polders as an unique specialty and you might wonder how useful its focus on money is going to benefit if its being stated that it is going to far less influential on city states.
But despite that I'm just really curious about the Dutch theme song, the sound of Willem van Oranje/the kind of language he uses and the rank of the cities being used. Will they pick them on the historical importance? In population size? They might not be that relevant for the gameplay in which most of the other new civs are way more interesting but I'm still curious in how it is going to work out.
