I've posted an update to Moxl Map Search that allows for units to be searched as well as tiles.

This mod adds a search box in the lens window above the minimap and a lens for displaying plots that match the search results.

Currently the following things can be searched:
Resources (Wool, Ivory, etc)
Terrian (Flat, Rough, etc)
Biomes (Desert, Grassland, Tropical, etc)
Civ/City State Ownership (Persia, Roman, etc)
Constructed features (Granary, Woodcutter, Farm, etc)
Discoveries (Tent Camp, Ruin, etc)
Units (Scout, Warrior, etc)

To search for all scout discoveries, you can simply search "discovery"

Excellent would like to request for 2 options if it is easy to implement and you think it good to add.

1. Do exact search. For example if I search for fish right now will also show me all fishing boats on map. Maybe if I could search as "fish" with quotes and do exact search
2. Multiply search. Search multiply things at once with a , . Example camel,Mountain

few minor comments:
1) seems that the icon here is overlapping with discovery len https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/discovery-lens.31872/updates is it possible for you guys to work together or make this search box a different column?
2) not sure whether it's a bug, I have to close mini map and reopen it for the second search (otherwise it will not allow me to input anything at the second time)
 
how do i make this compatible with KayleeR's Misc UI Modifications mod
 
Hi! The mod is not working with new patch? Anyone knows how to fix this?
 
Awesome! Small improvement - when typing into text area the checkbox "search" doesn't turn on automatically (as it was on previous version)
 
May I also suggest using in-game localization instead of "Search" in all game languages? If you will use "LOC_OPTIONS_SEARCH" - it will auto translate.

Good idea! You do need to account for the length in other languages. "Recherche" (French) looks to be the longest, so 3 letters more than English. You can however win some space by not uppercasing the word in front of the search box.
 
Will it search for Natural Wonders?
I don't see any when I search for 'natural'. Maybe my map doesn't have any. Or they are still undiscovered.
