Thanks dot80. I think the diplomacy later in the game will be interesting to write about.

I went back into the server about midnight last night, and played my turn, but it wouldn't let me end my turn until today. Still, though, it worked out okay. Glad we didn't lose any progress.

Oh yeah. I figured it was because I wasn't hitting "end turn" or because I had an unfinished build order. Weird... Must be a bug. Guess that means no religion until we can buy a shrine?

Yeah. Odd that's happening, though; the sort of bug you can't figure out why it's occurring.
Incidentally, I guess at this point all our peoples are animist-type earth-worshippers (maybe with shamans or something? I'm not an anthropologist...), if anyone wants to work that fact into a story.

One of my stories talks about a fire festival to 'gods'. I was pretty vague about what exactly the gods are.

Ok I won't be able to take my turn on the 17th, I think I'll be able to on the 16th and 18th, but no way on the 17th, so do I just let the AI do it? Or did we figure out the whole subs issue?

Well the AI won't do anything if you just leave everything. You could queue your moves and stuff so that it will cover the turns. We didn't figure out about the subs yet.

I went back in the server and clicked ready, but it didn't load me into the game. I guess everyone must first rejoin and click ready before it begins again?

Have you tried going back to the loading screen and pressing the little "switch" thing to go back to The Ottomans?

Just so you know, I was able to log on and play my turn just fine (as Spain), so I don't know what the issue was earlier. Also, I'm going to be clearing out my backlog of screenshots shortly (got 3-4 of them I need to write about) so I apologies if I'm spamming the story thread.
